原文: I play outdoor soccer in Pumas, and they fit me well, so I thought I would give these a shot. These shoes appear to fit just as well as my studs. While I would definitely use them for indoor soccer, I must confess that I actually bought these for the gym. Running shoes are a bad ch
oice for squats, deadlift, etc. due to the heel rise that pushes you onto your toes and instability associated with all the cushion - the cushion ain't good for the pushin'. Some lifts are better done with shoes off than in running shoes. These Pumas have minimal cushion and virtually no heel rise, and after a couple trips to the gym I am pleased with the performance. Of course, you see people with chuck-Ts at the gym for the same reasons I have mentioned. However, as soccer shoes, these are also designed for running. I find sprinting in these more pleasant than in my Mizuno running shoes. And treadmill running for a few miles has been comfortable so far too, meaning I can wear these for lifting and running at the gym.
