原文： In September 2014 we received this as a gift and immediately purchased a second one. We have travelled through out the world visiting North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe, etc. Recently a rib broke in one of the umbrellas due to my fault. With a canopy of 36" they d
o a good job protecting one person, the reason we have two. We have never had a problem with the open/close function. We have encountered heavy rains and some stiff winds and they did a good job of keeping us dry.. I don't think they would do well in torrential rains or strong wind because they were not manufactured for that purpose. Being light weight and small make them excellent for travelling

that the auto close only starts the process, but you have to apply quite a lot of effort to actually close it (and it won't reopen until you do).
