原文：Shoes look good and are comfortable, but the sole is falling off of the right heel after 2 months of daily (in an office, not a worksite) use. It looks like there was hardly any glue connecting the sole to the tread .It is a shame, the last 3 pairs of boots I have had have been Timberlands, and the
y were used in a much harder environment, and all lasted until the tread was gone(2-3 years)I did call the customer service, and they told me they would send me new boots, but that I get to have the pleasure of paying for the shipping. I know it will only be a few bucks, but the principal of me having to pay to correct their mistake tells me they dont want my continued long term business. I was told and I quote "that's just our policy," I also have to fill out a warranty claim online, they could not start a claim over the phone.I'll pay the $10/$15 bucks shipping to have these replaced, and I'll never buy another pair of Timberlands again.

原文：I really loved the style of the boots, I went with the dark brown and didn’t like the color of them. I returned them and went with the regular burnished brown and was pretty happy with the color.The dark brown boot is very dark, somewhat darker from the photos that are posted.Sizing:I would say you
should buy a FULL size down from your normal shoe/sneaker size. I wear a 9 in Vans/Adidas sneakers and went with a 8 in the Burnished Brown and they fit great!A shoelace did get messed up when trying to feed them through the loops but it’s not really a big problem. I really did not like the insole so I replaced them with some Dr.Scholl’s and they feel even better.I really like them because you can put your pants in them for a nice style or put them over and use them like a dress shoe.

原文：I got the size 13 wides and they fit spot on. As for the boots build , it's solid for the pair I got. I took a vacation to the Grand canyon and wearing these boots made hiking and climbing a breeze, however they are better for dry terrain, rocks , sand etc. With ice and snow these boots have a minim
al amount of grip and going down a snowy canyon could be very slippery and dangerous without caution. They are waterproof and my feet never got wet by streams, ice or snow ( I went in it all). I suggest using a foot insert for more impact comfort though, other then that they are great outdoor boots for level or dry surfaces, wet and icy surfaces at an incline may be an issue. They also work well with dress clothes.

原文：I've had these for about a month now. They are my very first pair of leather boots ever and I love them. I wanted one boot that I could wear for winter, hiking, and just because, and these fit the bill. They look really good and have held up well through several hikes of about five or six miles each
. A couple of the hikes the weather was pretty wet and no moisture got in. Of course, the tongue is loose, so I'm sure stepping in a deep puddle or hanging out in a constant downpour will allow some water in. They are also quite comfortable. I even wore them for about 19 hours straight walking all over Munich, Germany. My feet were sore, of course, but not as sore as they've been after a day in my usual low-profile trainers.The sizing, like everyone else says, is pretty large. I wear an eleven normally, but I went with a 10.5. Everyone said to go a size down, but my foot is a bit wide, so I thought I'd see how half a size went. Turns out I probably could have done with a size down, and maybe even a size and a half if I wanted a snug fit. But these were partly meant for hiking and for hiking you want your boots to fit just a bit large so you have plenty of toe room, so I've decided to stay with the 10.5, though if/when I buy another pair I might go down to 10.I got them in burnished brown, which ended up being a dark reddish brown, which I actually prefer.They were pretty much broken in and ready to wear right away, but have actually broken in even more. The leather is supple and comfortable. I've read some reviews saying that the sole wears out quickly, but that they would be happy to re-sole them. I haven't noticed any such wear yet, but if the boots last as long as I imagine they will, I'll be happy to re-sole them whenever. And I've never re-soled ANYTHING.TL;DR, If you're looking for a good boot for light hikes that can also be worn on a night out on the town, look no further. Just go a size down.
