I'm 5 6 tall (yes, I know I'm short), and I know I have long legs, short torso, and a long neck. I have a thin to medium body build. So I knew I would be better off with a 38
s, over a 38r, or 40s, or 40r. I also knew I could alter a 38r to a 38s, but it would be s stretch to alter a 38L, 40s, or 40r. You have to have a good understanding about your fit, body type, and body size to order. Trust me, I'm no expert, but I took my time, looked at several Top Coats, tried on several coats while paying close attention to their sizing at malls to have an educated guess about what size Top Coat to get. I'm expecting an other and hope it fits as well as this one. However, it's a different designer/brand so all bets are off. Luck to all. Stay stylish lads : )
