原文：I'm always a little hesitant about sticking something with spinning blades into my nose. However, more expensive does not always equal better. In this case, the ten dollar trimmer works quite well. You can really hear it grind up those pesky nose hairs. I was told by someone smarter than I not to t
ry and shave the inside of your nasal cavities bald. The hairs inside actually do some good in catching debris from entering your lungs. So just try to remove the ones that tend to grow long and are visible outside your nose holes. I suspect it will work just as good on ear hair, but I haven't used it for that purpose. For some reason, hair does not grow in my ears. However, I suspect that unlike nose hair, bald is better when it comes to ear hair and I'll bet this device will shave your ears with no problem. This particular trimmer has a sliding collar that exposes a small port on the side for flushing out cut up nose hairs when placed under running water and the motor is running. A nice way to keep the trimmer clean. So if you need a nose hair trimmer, I can whole heartedly reccomend this one.

In all of them the blade gets gunked up after a few months and the added resistance makes the whole unit stop working. You can
confirm this yourself by removing the blade housing, and the motor will spin freely.If I am very meticulous about cleaning, and run it under water EVERY time after use, I can get several months out of it. With no cleaning they last maybe a week or two if I am lucky. I've tried every possible way of cleaning (alcohols, solvents, brushes), but once the blade starts to catch in the housing it is game over within a short time. I think it depends on how sticky your nose mucous is. Some people can go for long periods of time. Others like me apparently have very gunky snot.Replacement blades are more expensive than a new unit and hard to find. Ideally they would sell a bulk pack of replacement blades, but its probably not cost effective for Panasonic to do so.The manual design sounds good but for me tends to catch and pull (ouch!), and the gap between the trimmer blade and the housing is to big, so I don't get a close shave. The tiny scissor-action ones are hopeless.So the IMHO best solution for me is to order two at a time rinse after every use, and always keep a spare. Good product, I just have to accept that it is a disposable item, and last maybe 3 months if I am careful.

replacing the battery...still the same problem...Long story short, the blades inside the head are spring controlled.... after a few uses the springs just bust out and pushes the blades harshly against the tip head..thus creating the grinding noise that makes the battery and motor wear out..on top of that it inhibits cutting abilities(I tried it 3 times... by now it just rips out hairs if it can catch any...otherwise it's not really working at all).I really wanted this to work.... it's a shame because it performed great the first few times, but like many(read the reviews!!! The good ones are from excited users who had just purchased it... I was like that too...as it performs good...then later, by design it fails....) My unit is not a lone, I have heard this from many other people who have owned this device.... They need to fix this issue by finding out how to retain those springs that hold the blades in.

I've been using Panasonic shavers and this ear trimmer for years and years and always like it so this was an easy decision. However, like most products nowadays, it's cheap junk, at $15 it's a waste of money, they should be
selling it for $2.99 and it still be a waste of money. Barely used and already two batters dead. Unit stinks in battery compartment when you open it up. The thing jams all the time and has to be cleaned. So I'll just continue to use old one which works perfect year and year with no hassles until I get a new brand I'm going to try.

This one takes forever to trim the hair and doesn't do that great of a job. It takes 5 times the effort and time to
do the job that my old one took. I thought maybe it was low powered because I put a bad battery in it, but that's not the case either.It's sounds like it's running on a low battery and hardly trims/cuts. I thought I'd give it a few tries before totally bashing this with hopes that I'd feel different about it, but I don't. I tossed the box and might as well toss this in the garbage too.
