原文:One day, long ago, I was fed up with buying cheap glasses and losing/breaking them. So I went to the fancy glasses store, bought myself a sweet, expensive pair of D&Gs, and strutted around with them like I owned a baseball team. Then I lost them, too. From that day forward, I vowed to never again buy
expensive sunglasses, since I suck so bad at taking care of anything. All I really wanted was a pair of glasses that looked good, were cheap, and were polarized. These fit the bill. I bought a pair. Loved them. Lost them. Bought another pair. Loved them again! Broke them.Learning my lesson, I most recently bought SIX of them. I leave one in my car, one at my desk, one in the house, under the couch, in my jacket pocket, and in a drawer somewhere. Now I'm always within reach of a pair and I can't be happier. And I could buy twelve more and still not touch the price I paid for those D&Gs back in the day.
