原文:After researching hydration vest/belt options for a couple weeks, I settled on this UD SJ Ultra vest. I had it down to a Soloman option and a Nathan option, but this one won out. Here are a few points of interest you may find helpful:PROs:It's light weight. I barely notice it on my body after I get
into my run. I wear it over an Under Armor dry fit type shirt and even over that thin material I don't notice the weight. It fits well. I purchased a M/L. I am 6'2, 170ish and wear a 40L in a sports coat. I have the M/L tightened all the way, but it is snug enough to not bounce around. You can adjust the cross straps to thighten in the exact areas that fit your chest. It has enough storage for a long or short run. I have an iPhone 6 Plus. I haven't taken this on a super long run that would merit two water bottles, so up until this point I have carries the phone in the other bottle pocket. You can tighten it enough that you don't feel the phone moving. I also carry gels in the side pocket thats on the bottle pocket. That works great. There is a big back pocket for a light jacket or a hydration bladder if you are so inclined as to use one of those, however it does not come with one. Also, in reference to the side hip pockets, they CAN fit an iPhone 6 Plus. It's pretty snug, but it does fit. As I do longer runs with this pack, I will throw my phone in there. It looks cool.CONs:I don't care for the bottles. At first, I couldn't get the water to come out. Then I realized you have to pull up the nipples to release the flow. Then you still have to squeeze the bottle, and the flow is pretty intense. It's hard to feel the water in your mouth. I prefer the Soloman soft flasks instead, so these bottles are just going to get tossed to the side. The side pockets are actually on your back. I didn't realize that when I was researching it. It's not a HUGE deal, but they are hard to get to. When I start to carry my phone there, it will basically stay there until I stop the run or stop to rest. You can get it out while running, but it's hard to put back in. Those pockets are great for sticking IDs, credit cards, or even trash.Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I'll definitely use it for longer trail runs and marathons. I think I'm going to try a belt for shorter runs such as 10ks.
