He didn't have teeth yet, but it was not a pleasant experience, nor was I willing to ever try to repeat it in cas
e he tolerated it better the second time. I use the toothpaste with a different brush that did not involve me sticking my finger into his mouth and hoping he didn't bite! At my baby's first dentist appointment, my dentist recommended that we finish up this tube of tooth cleanser, then switch to one with fluoride. We don't live in a place with drinkable tap water, so he doesn't get the fluoride from the tap and needs a toothpaste that has it instead.

原文：Use it for cleaning my LO's few teeth. Great for babies that are not ready for the tooth paste that must be rinsed out. The brush that comes with it is not great because I cant position it exactly right on the gum since my son closes his mouth and tries to chew on my finger as I clean his teeth. A r
egular silicone finger brush or even a wash cloth does the job.

It doesn't hurt my finger when he bites down right now but I will have to get a different kind of toothbrush when he gets more teeth due

原文：My LO cut her first tooth at 4 months. We didn't use the toothpaste at first since she had not had any food yet (not by any doctor's decree, just being cautious). We just wet the finger brush and wiped all her gums and tooth. Then she got the second tooth and started some food around 5 months. T
he toothpaste (I tried it) is pleasant and is sweet, but nothing too crazy. We brush her teeth morning and night and it has held up very well (she is 7 months now). The finger brush allows you to get all those gums and around the teeth pretty well. We own a baby tooth brush too, but right now, I prefer this-- especially at night when I am in the dark since it is easier to manipulate.
