原文：I am not too pleased with this version of the Saucony Guide. I was previously wearing the Guide 9 and have had previous versions and have usually been happy with them overall. The cushioning in this version is just not enough for me, I have been having aches and pains in my forefoot in one foot sinc
e wearing them and some numbness in my big toe. I have played around with different insoles and have not gotten these shoes to work for me.....yet. The thing is you have to have a low profile insole, nothing too thick because there is not a lot of room in the forefoot area, height wise in these shoes. Why can't Saucony put a better insole in their shoes to begin with? The Everun insole is pretty thin and there is not much too it. I used a low profile Sof Sole insole in the previous guide 9s and it worked well. I might have to get a pair of them for the 10s. I will stay away from the Saucony Guides for a while myself.

原文：I started wearing the Saucony Guides back with version 2, and have worn (or tried) every version since. Saucony is all over the map with this series. Some of them have been great, others were drastic changes. My all time favorite was the Guide 2, followed by the Guide 8. The Guide 9's were horrible,
so I switched over to the Brooks Ravenna, and thought I was going to no longer be a Saucony customer.I needed a new pair and decided to try the Guide 10, and am glad I did. Shoes have been great so far, once the glaring problem was resolved.These shoes fit small, and are narrower than the previous versions. They are at least 1/2 size smaller than they used to be. I have been a 10 1/2 D in Saucony since the Guide 2. Not so with the Guide 10. Why do running shoe companies change the basic fundamentals of the shoe when they come out with a new model? New materials, sure, but making a shoe smaller and narrower just doesn't make sense.Would have given them five stars if not for the sizing issue. Huge improvement over the Guide 9 for me.

My previous Saucony running shoes size 11 1/2 were too large (needed xtra inner soles); another pair size 11 were also a bit too large; for these shoes I almost tried size 10 1/2 but glad I didn't since these size 11's were a bit smaller than the previous size 11's and just rig
ht (although I still put in a heel pad). I guess it depends on the particular shoe. Next time I will order size 10 1/2.
