原文：I like the watch. Spent a lot of time reviewing watches. Truth be told I bought this as a work and dress watch. I like the size and the waterproof rating. I like the looks which is why I'm less interested in some of the chronograph issues some have reported. I have a sport watch for water sport
event (G-Shock Rescue). I have only worn it for one day. I gave it 4 stars because the band is too short for my 7.5" circumference wrist. The strap is also challenging to put into the first loop as it is very close to the buckle. The strap is think and stiff. We'll see how this changes with time. I may replace the strap. I'll update as time goes on. I want to give it 5 stars but cannot right now.

原文：My first ever Chronograph...in fact, my first-ever watch that I purchased for me. The watch fits well for my bony wrist diameter of 6.25", and a case diameter of 40mm seems to be just the right size (not too big, not too small). Personally, the amazon images provided here and by fellow verifie
d purchasers made this thing look so gorgeous..and I was just a tad bit disappointed when I finally got it. I think it's due to the thickness of the watch--it's about 13/32" so it does stick out a bit. The first Amazon image gave me the impression that it is thinner. This is something I'll definitely keep in mind for future purchases. Regardless, it definitely is a good-looking watch for a starter. I can imagine wearing this through many different events--semi-casual, professional, etc. I intend to change it up between the stock leather and a black/sand-colored NATO strap.I'm just beginning to learn how to use the stop-watch functions...very nifty though. I supposed it's time I start learning to time things with this rather than my phone app. The thing I do admire about this the most is that I haven't lost a step on time so far...and I'll be watching this closely. I never paid attention to this detail with any watches I had in the past (all gifted to me...in total, 4 in my life). I always thought that watches are useless if I have to keep resetting it to match the time, often falling behind by minutes within a week. This thing looks like it will stay on point for a long time. Hopefully it does!If I had to mention any flaws, it would be this: there is a really long, thin hand which works as part of the stop-watch function (noticeable on the first Amazon image as pointing to the 5). When set to 0, this thin hand is off-set to the right just a smidge. As I invest in higher quality watches, I expect these things to be on point rather than sitting off-set. However, as a starter watch for me, it's a non-issue. A personal gripe is that, every time I look at the watch, I (out of habit I guess) keep expecting the thin hand to move as an indicator for seconds. On the left side of the watch is a small clock that's actually counting the seconds. This is something I'll have to get used to.All in all, great watch. Looking forward to how it lasts.

原文：Bought this for a graduation present for a friend. I wanted a great watch that will last, but didn't want to pay over $150 for it. As with many watches on the market today, the dial face is large, but not distastefully so. All functions are working perfectly and the lume is good. The dial face i
s well-constructed and the lettering is crisply defined. The packaging is basic Seiko but it protects the watch very well. Running about +20 per day but that will likely settle down once the watch is worn in. Of particular note is the fact that the case back for this watch is blank and substantially large enough to have the watch inscribed prior to gifting. You'd be surprised how many watch manufacturers have taken to providing large designs and logos on the case back, which was a limiting factor in my choice as I wanted to get the watch inscribed. The leather strap and buckle are nothing fancy but they're dutiful and serve the purpose. This is a great all-around watch that is well-suited for work or play. And of course, you get that great Seiko quality control and construction.

The size is perfect for people with smaller wrists than average, even though the 39mm diameter does not include the crown (stem). I also have Timex's black chronograph watc
h, which is considerably larger and heavier - not a dress watch, but rather a sport watch for outdoor activities. There is no perceptible ticking noise from this Seiko, unlike the Timex. The leather wrist band is high quality and should be quite durable. I would recommend this watch to a friend.
