I love, so I'm already a Dyson believer. So when I read a review that on a "1" setting, this fan could not be heard, I knew I had found my instant ceiling fan minus the time and inconvenience. And it delivered. I leave it on all night on a "1" and sleep like a baby. If I overheat I just turn it up a notch or two and it's still quieter than your average fan. If it weren't for the high price, I would have already replaced every other fan in the house with a Dyson. Someday. A girl can dream, can't she.

原文：If this were a regular $10 fan, with the same size, you would not be impressed with the air output. It does a good job as a novelty. Cost is an issue and the fact that the fan loses 50% of its functionality if you lose the tiny remote is an issue, as described by others. The thing that really ama
zes me is the light on the front. It is supposed to tell you what the fan setting is (1-10), but it is as bright as a plug-in night light. I am not joking - it is bright enough to light up my entire bedroom. I taped a paper note card (not just a sheet of paper) over the light, and you can still read the numbers through it, and it still lights up my room at night. Wow.

原文：I like a fan blowing at night from a bedside table. This one is so quiet I can listen to music and not notice any noise at lower speeds, more like a natural breeze. It really helps me sleep. There is a soft blue glow from the speed indicator at the bottom that is not distracting. Another advantage:
Whereas traditional fans always build up dust on the blades this device will be a " breeze" to wipe clean with a cloth. One cautionary note: Got toddlers? The fan is safe for little fingers but I don't know if it is safe *from* little kids--if it were to be dropped and the plastic circle cracked it would not function quietly and that would be $245. down the drain. Overall I love it and recommend it!
