原文：This seat has a defect that Britax has not addressed after several efforts over many months. The straps get caught on something inside the seat that can't be accessed, causing the straps to be loose on one side while tight on the other. It sometimes requires 10 and 15 minutes of fighting with it to
get the straps even in order to make it safe for my child, and I have to always check both sides, not just one, to make sure the straps are as tight as they should be. Multiple police officers trained in child restraint installation and safety have had trouble fixing this when it's gotten uneven and have been concerned about the safety of my seat. Despite its high ratings from consumer guides, etc, I wouldn't buy this costly seat again, and I'll likely be buying a new seat now because Britax won't replace it despite my efforts.

原文：I was recently in a car accident with my child in the car in this seat. She was 100% OK, and I am so thankful!!! I ordered the exact same model to replace the first one (I wasn't comfortable continuing to use a seat that had been in an accident). My child is 2.5 years old, weighs about 35 lbs., a
nd sits rear-facing.Outside of this accident, we really like this car seat. It's easy to install CORRECTLY, and easy to get her in and out. It was a pain to clean after she vomited in it once, but I hand washed the cover, then ran it through a spin cycle in my washer, and that helped it air dry quicker. After that incident, I purchased the liner pad in the hopes of containing future incidents and keeping yucky stuff out of the tiny crevices of the seat. Lucky for us we haven't tested that theory yet.We have put this seat in a variety of vehicles, including a Mazda 6, Audi A4, Audi Q3, Kia Sorento, VW Passat, Dodge Journey, Honda Odyssey, and more. It has worked great in all of them, but in smaller cars the front passenger seat has to be moved up a lot to accommodate this seat while rear-facing. One hint for getting it out of a car is to unbuckle the seat belt to make the ClickTight seat easier to release.If you found my review helpful, please give me a vote!

FYI, those who has complaint about the tight strap to the legs area all you need to do is read your manual, there's adjustment instruction to page 22-23 if you missed that. UPDATE: there is an adjustment also to t

Don't believe the negative reviews on here most of them are just they misread their manual instruction. See it for yourself and experience it. Dont forget to read your MANUAL page by page so you will be informed how to use it.The only complaint I have is you have to purchase separate cup holder.

原文：Great carseat. As others have posted, the harness buckle between the legs is very short and requires you to loosen and tighten the straps each time you put your child in. I can live with that because of the safety ratings and such of this carseat - it's worth it to me. My 14 mo old seems comfortable
and while we have a small car and it can't recline super far, I was expecting that.One more thing to note: you can get the clicktight too tight!! I almost couldn't get it un-clicked because I had the strap in the clicktight technology too tight. Once we were able to press down on the seat, get the clicktight undone and loosen the strap a little, we were good to go. It is extremely secure and in the perfect position -- it just has a little learning curve at first!

原文：This car seat gets me so worked up every time I need to remove it out of the car for travel or cleaning. The "simple" click tight mechanism is anything but simple. My finger ends up swollen and calloused every time I have to try and turn it to remove the car seat from the car. It literally t
akes me a minimum of 30 minutes every time I try to remove this seat. And I'm usually dripping in sweat, dropping some improper language, and beyond angry. There are more user friendly systems out there. I would never recommend this car seat to anyone.

原文：We have two Britax Marathon Convertible Car seats. One for our 3 year old son and this one for our 1 year old daughter. We love the older version that we bought for our boy. Very well made, easy to install, no issues after 2 years of use. This one, however, is a significant step back. The "
ClickTight" concept is good but not great. You still have to really pull on the strap to get the seat tight. Our biggest issue are the shoulder straps in this car seat. One is ALWAYS longer than the other. We've pulled it out a dozen times to adjust. The straps will stay the same for a single use and then go back to one being 1/2 longer than the other. It appears that where the straps are sown together they left a lip and that lip is getting caught. I wish I could return for something else. I never feel that my daughter is 100% safe in this seat unless I over tighten one side.

This is our 3rd Britax, and although this one has thick padding, the design and fabric are such that you cannot remove the cover to wash it. Th
is is a terrible feature and I can't believe they'd even design something this way. We can't return it, but are buying an older version of the Britax which has a fabric cover that can actually be removed and washed (the fabric on this model is weird foam-like stuff that is easily shredded by velcro shoes).
