Titanium is light, but expensive.The Stanley is great for me, as I don't mind the weight. I tossed the two plastic nestling cups that come with it in favor of storing my stove, fuel, cleaning towel, and eating utensil inside instead. I use the Stanley in conjunction with a GSI stainless steel cup that nestles well with it. The lid for the Stanley fits perfectly as a lid for the GSI Cup, as well.Speaking of the lid, the attention to detail on the Stanley is actually amazing, considering pots far more expensive don't usually have the perks that the Stanley does. The lid has a plastic flip-up finger handle that stays up perfectly on its own. There are also drain holes in the lid.There are measurements marked on the outside, but not on the inside. However the marks are stamped, so you can still see them from the inside...just reversed. No big deal, really.The handle is strong and acts as a firm/reliable closure when it's locked into its folded position.Overall, the Stanley is a quality product at a terrific price. I love mine and would easily recommend it.

t Mashed Potatoes. Here's what I do; boil enough water to pour in my Mountain House meal bag. While it's rehydrating in it's own bag, I'll boil more water for a Knorr Rice or Idahoan mashed taters to mix in the pot. BAM! a BIG meal!If you're backpacking and need to cut weight, you can ditch the plastic items that come stacked inside. Those items are insulated and built to last but weigh a little much for ultra lightweight backpacking. Eat out of the pre-packaged meal bags or out of the pot and save the weight! Speaking of stacked, this pot will fit in most light weight metal camping cups. One can also store a small camping stove with the fuel canister inside this pot! With the pot stacked inside your cup and your stove and fuel inside the pot, BAM, you have your complete cooking set up in one small package!

ea and more than enough to handle two packages of oatmeal for each person. Very easy to clean with minimal water use. I use the pot for heating water only and use the hot water to heat stuff in the cups. The difference in weight between this and a titanium set at 5X the price is negligible for me. I bought this set and couldn't be happier.
