There are a lot of different brands out there but I personally like Swiss made. What first got me thinking about Raymond Weil is the fact that
they are one of the last independent Swiss watch makers that have kept their products all in house and family made.Next my biggest want for a new watch was something light and not bulky. Something that I can wear at work all day, easily type on a laptop all day without my wrist hurting, and of course still look very stylish with both dress and casual clothes (to get all of this in one watch is not easy).This watch is a perfect size any way you look at it. 39 mm face is great for most wrists, I can manage a 42 but they look a little big on me, but this 39 is perfect. The 6mm thickness of the face is amazing. Basically when you put it on it becomes one with your hand not obtrusive in the least bit. The bracelet is also great, feels like butter on your wrist.In person the watch looks great. Very shiny and stands out, however the white face gives it a level of subtlety, so it's not too in your face.In terms of buying watches from Amazon, this one comes with manufacture warranty giving me a level of confidence in the product. But from what I can tell the watch is brand new. Brought it to watch repair shop to get it fitted, asked the guy his opinion and he said great watch.Only had it for 2 days so can't say how long it will last, but I hope for a while because I defiantly love the watch.Discount seems to fluctuate on this one. I managed to get it for 320 (%60) off which is just gravy at this point.Must buy for anyone looking for a simple yet perfect watch.
