I swear that my handwriting is like 100% better when I use this pen; the cursive script I write with looks exceptionally good on card stock.When I first got it, I was anxious to break it in, so I used it for all of my writing at work in the first week. I decided after it was broken in to save it for special things, like signatures or hand-written cards to Clients. I am always proud to use this pen and it is a special treat to myself in the day when I get to use it; saving it for special things makes it almost zen-like when I do use it. I highly recommend trying it!I have not used the refillable, bottled ink converter cartridge yet, but there are very clear instructions to use it when I choose to. As for the single use and toss cartridges, they were very easy to install and my original one finally ran out last week after about 3 months of use! Anyone who is nervous about using a fountain pen for the first time (I definitely was) should rest easy and try this one out. I haven't had an ink spots or accidents with it; the ink stays in the pen where it's supposed to!So, if you're looking for a nice gift for your boss/husband/son, or just a nice, shiny thing for your own desk, this is a fantastic entry point to the world of fountain pens. It's easy to use and fairly basic, but still fancy enough (with the gold plating and beautiful black finish) that you won't be instantly pining for a nicer one. Give this Parker a try; you won't be sorry you did!

原文：Have used this for a month now every day. Quite pleased now. However, my initial experience wasn't so and I almost came to returning it but for my perseverance. Hence the 4-star rating. I've used fountain pens for a long time in my earlier years and was aware of the break-in period involved with new
nibs. This knowledge is what made me persevere with this pen set and I enjoy the writing experience with it now. In hindsight, I can say that users should begin using the new pen with the ink converter and bottled ink and NOT the cartridges. I made the mistake of beginning to use the new pen with the included cartridges and found the ink flow very inconsistent. I had to shake the pen often and even then the ink flow from the cartridge was not smooth. The included booklet describes the history of fountain pens, how to hold and write, how to fill ink and so on but fails to suggest using the ink converter and bottled ink first with the new pen. This simple omission in the booklet is tragic. The ink convertor allows the nib to draw bottled ink and flush it whereas the cartridge does not. So with the new pen, I suggest drawing ink and flushing it back into the bottle a few times before beginning to write. This will ensure smoother ink flow in the initial break-in period. I therefore strongly suggest starting with the bottled ink and converter initially with the new pen. Overall, it's a great value for the money.
