原文：I love my Herschel backpack! This was the perfect size for me for school. I could fit 2 binders, a pencil case, a few books and I still had a ton of room left over. I like the inside laptop sleeve as its useful when I use this as an overnight bag and want to bring my laptop with me. I get compliment
s on this backpack wherever I go. The design is so minimalistic yet so pretty. The canvas fabric does get dirty as mine is a light color but canvas is a relatively easy fabric to clean so it's just a little extra work every now and then, but unavoidable. I have never adjusted the strap going down the middle of the backpack but the magnet is great and so convenient (Edit: Since this review, I have adjusted this middle strap to allow more room in the backpack when I'm carrying more. It is difficult to change between holes, but not annoying enough to take away from the bag.). I also like the cinch closure for extra security on the main compartment. One thing that does bother me with this backpack, and my friend with a different style Herschel backpack has the same problem, is the shoulder straps easily becoming longer on their own. After adjusting the straps, I have to carefully put my arms through to make sure they don't slide to a larger setting. This is just a small inconvenience for a great and stylish backpack. If you're a college or high school student looking for the perfect sized backpack to carry a few of your binders and books, this is the one for you!

y negative thing is that there's just two compartments, a small pocket where i keep my phone and my personal items and the large section for everything else, so it often take a bit of rummaging to find what I need.

It was too small for me though, but that was not why I don't like it.My major problem was the the elastic band that closes up the body. It's super twisted and curls up so a lot of times when you try to open it, the adjuster ge
ts stuck which is pretty annoying, especially when you are in a rush and are trying to get something out of quickly - like your Metrocard to not miss your train. I returned it, ordered a larger version, as I especially like the polka dot design, and am hoping the same problem will not happen with the new one.
