原文：My husband has this jacket in a men's medium. I love it on him so much, I wanted one, too. I ordered a women's medium and was so excited when it arrived, but crushed when I put it on. The jacket fit beautifully in the upper body-- shoulders were great, just the right amount of ease in the chest, and
the sleeves were the perfect length. BUT I could hardly close the jacket at my hips. I am a normally-proportioned woman with a slight hourglass figure, but not like a pear-shape where my hips are larger. I've never had this issue with a coat before, so I thought it was so strange. I decided to try a large, thinking maybe it won't be that much bigger on the top, but the hips will fit better. It was ridiculous! My husband said it looked like a linebacker with his pads on could have worn this coat--- BUT the circumference around the hips was exactly the same as the size medium! How is that possible? I can't even imagine what a woman who could wear the large would look like. She'd have to have the broadest shoulders ever and be a 42 DDD or something, but have little skinny adolescent boy hips.I took a closer look at my husband's coat and noticed that, like most men's clothing, it is broader at the shoulders and narrower at the hips-- because that's how men are built. Women are not usually like this, however. When I laid the ladies version over his, it practically followed the same lines. It appears that the company just took the same design for the men's jacket and shrunk it a bit and call them women's. Sorry! Doesn't work like that!Very disappointed about this purchase. The coat is well-made and the perfect weight, so I really wanted it to be my winter jacket this year.
