moisture easily creeps in. Thee shoes should last longer than this so I am changing my original review of 5 stars to a mere 2 stars. In an effort to get through the summer before buying another brand I purchased a tube of Shoe Goo on Amazon.com and the shoes are dry again. If you buy these shoes make sure you buy a tube of Shoe Goo in about a year and your feet should stay dry. Come on ASICS don't skimp on the glue!!I bought these shoes since I was looking for a good running shoe that wouldn't get my feet wet when running on a golf course in the early morning. These are excellent. I read the reviews about the Gore Tex liner effecting the fit but I ignored it and bought my normal size. I was wrong, they do run about a half size small with the built-in liner. As usual Amazon.com was awesome in swapping them out for a half size larger and now they fit perfectly. My feet are nice and dry. I will see how they do in the hot summer but for now my feet are cool and dry.

size 13, like I do, this proves problematic as ASICS does not offer a size 13.5 or a 13 wide in this shoe. I ordered a size 14, the next size up that they offer, and even with a Super sized aftermarket insole they were just WAY too big. My fix to this problem was to return the 14's, and order the 13's figuring I could stretch them. Nope. With the factory insoles in the shoes were so small in the toes that they hurt badly. I took the insoles out, but as these have gore-tex booties there is a stitch-seam down the bottom of the shoe. Not to worry though, after much trial and error I finally found Superfeet Carbon insoles. I slapped these very expensive pieces of plastic in the bottom of my already very expensive shoes, and voila, they fit.My point is, they are great shoes, and if you can order a half size up, do it. If not, get some Superfeet Carbon insoles and enjoy your dry feet!

2 size when I buy the gore-tex lining. They do not rub my heel - and are only slightly longer in the toe area. I love them !!First of all Asics are wonderful - I walk 5 miles a day/5 days a week. Next - G-TX is wonderful !!! .... I work in delivery during summer rain - and winter snow ..... these shoes keep you feet warm in the winter and DRY .... and they are not too hot for summer either. The only reason I haven't purchased them to wear year round was the price .... .but my other Asics have greatly increased in price, making these about the same price - so I may start buying the G-TX year round. .... they are just harder to find to purchase.They have changed the style since 2014 and this style was a little stiffer - took a little time at home to break them in. First pair of Asics ever that I had to have break-in time.

in! They have good arch support and are relatively lightweight. I previously owned a pair of Brooks Waterproof trail runners and I think I will ultimately like these better. I ordered a half size larger on the recommendation of some other reviewers and am glad I did. They are really grey in color. For whatever reason, I got the impression when I ordered them that they were more black in color and a little more understated. They are fine in appearance! Just a little surprised coming out of the box. Hope this helps.

r the first 10 minutes or so is very nice. However: Even though I bought these 1/2 size larger (following others' advice here), they are still a little tight; my big toes get tingly which tells me there's too much pressure across the tops of my feet. And although all new shoes need some breaking in, I got much worse blisters with these than any shoes I've ever owned; not only at the achilles but on the balls of my feet also. Took a week off to heal up, but now I've had them a month and they're still wearing those same spots raw. I probably will try a different brand next time.

and i have worn that same size asics for the past 5 pairs of asics, not sure if having the extra half size bigger would alleviate the problem or not but probably wouldnt hurt.

gular cumulus line as well.If you need a rain sneaker or forced to run out doors due to rigorous training then i guess these are great, if not stick with the regular cumulus series the fit is night and day if your used to the regular series.
