The problem is the back strap that goes around the ankle is too loose and the base of the shoe is too heavy, causing the foot to flip flop against the shoe when walking, which is not an attractive look p
ost puberty. The size is correct, any smaller and my foot wouldn't fit, but the design is regrettably flawed. I own exclusively Clark's shoes, about 30 pair, all types, and buy them all online. This is only the second pair I've had to return.

原文：These shoes are awesome! I have a long but very narrow foot and have a hard time keeping shoes from flopping off my heel. The left one fit perfectly but the right one had to be tightened up by a cobbler/shoe repairman. It cost ~$7 to have this done but fits perfectly now. The shoes are feminine, but
not too girly and attention getting, and blend in nicely with shorts, knee length skirts, capris, and jeans.I gave it a *4/5 due to needing to alter the heel strap for a better fit. Would be nice if it came with a buckle to adjust instead. That being said- this is a problem I have with most shoes; they fall off my feet and I need a shoe that fits around my foot with a strap of some sort or a buckle, or a tennis shoe. I cannot wear flats or anything generic cut shoe.

原文：with the exception of the back strap ~ being that it is not as tight as should be & therefore doesn't stay in place very well, I am satisfied with the purchase .. normally would take size 5, but due to unavailability & experiencing a feeling of too tight in size five in the past with Clark's shoes,
I decided to go with a 5.5 & that may well be the issue with the feeling that the strap seems a bit too loose. But I am keeping them anyway instead of exchanging ~ haven't had much luck with the exchange for a size difference with Clark's. Seemingly when ever the site claims a particular size is not available, there is no option to back order or reorder in the size / style desired.
