It has ventilation holes in the case itself, to prevent moisture build up.Also in the package is a brush storage "garage" which you can place on your counter, this holds 4 brush heads of any kind.One additional thing I like about the Panasonics is that they have universal 100 - 240 V automatic universal voltage conversion in the chargers, whereas my old Oral B Professional Series 3000 was unusable on a recent trip to Europe since it was only designed for the US voltage (120 V). It seems unfortunately, that new models of Oral B also have this issue.
