I have noticed that Teva has sacrificed quality since I bought my first pair a few years ago. They were made of natural leather. The
se are completely synthetic. But Teva still has a unique design that fits naturally on my feet very much like the other pair. No break-in time was required. I did not follow the advice to buy a half size larger. I generally wear 10.5 to 11, and I bought 10.5. So I cannot think of why so many are saying that they "run small." It is important to note that I am flat-footed, and have wider than average feet. Teva seems to accommodate wider feet like no other shoe maker I have experienced. It was also nice that they came completely laced up.

Note, you would want a shoe that fits somewhat snugly because it will also expand slightly after break-in. That is especially true of a hiking shoe.Pros:1)Ideal waterproof business casual shoe. If you live in a climate that is constantly wet (rain or snow) and need a casual business shoe that will not get wet, then you have found the right shoe.2)Looks good with surprisingly high quality leather.3)Still a very capable hiking shoe when the need calls.4)Fits me exactly as expected. I wear size 9 and that size fits my foot like a glove.5)Very comfortable and ideal for mid-arched people like myself.Cons:1)The leather can be scratched against the rocks when hiking. 原文：i'm a size 12 and size 12.5 doesn't exist and i didn't want to go up to size 13. I tried to make it work but it just wasn't bearable. Teva should make their sizes 0.5 bigger so that the return rate on mail orders would go down. Or at least make a 12.5 then..

原文：I use an orthotic so I cannot comment on the provided arch support as I take out the innersole. This is a second pair for me and previous to this I also had the almost identical Teva Event. I think the sole of these makes them even more comfortable than the Event. Having these previous pairs I k
new what I was getting but I would say that they are widish fit (I do have a narrow fit mind you) and they are not big for their size - by that I mean my 12's are not a big 12. While I prefer the extra support of boots for rocky walking I use the Kimtah for everyday bush walking. They are well made and offer good support, flexibility and comfort

I am very happy to find what I'd say is the next generation of Teva walking shoe. Very comfortable right out of the box with firm sole cushion (not too soft, not
too hard... just right). Until I found these I had resorted to Keen however I found that their sole would wear out/fall apart very quickly. If these new Tevas are anything like their old style these will outlast 3 pairs of Keens.
