原文：I loved it. It is just like many other clark shoes I have. Calf is still big even for a narrow size. I can fit a normal pant or jean into it without stress its top. However, it is still look good with skinny pant or dress too because it is leather and it stick to your leg rather than fall off like s
ynthetic stuffs. I am 5'4 and 116lbs.I did experience like other reviewer. When i first got it, I had hard time fitting my feet into the shoes. It was very painful even for a couple minutes wear, but it didn't give me sore or red feet. I was going to return it because right off the first try, there is no way i could walk in it or be in it. It seem like it is too narrow.However, the next day before I pack them to return. I give it another try. It was a bit stiffing, but I could walk on them. Then, since I was urgently need to go for work, I wore it with little discomfort, but wasn't painful like when I first put my feet into the other night. Then 30 minutes later i realized, there is no pain yet very comfortable like other clark shoes I had. I never have any blister or redness for wearing this pair even it was very excruiating painful when i first put my feet in.My hypothesis is: the shoes is too new right off the box. There was no previous fitter before me, hence I am happen to be first to break it. All leather with weatherproof are meant to be hard unless someone had to put her foot in there to break it. In the store, it is less likely you can find a super new off the manufacture without anyone try on. There fore, many don't see this problem. A few do just because we happen to get a brand new never try on pair. Just be patience… it is worth it...I did polish it with bee wax for water proof, but it was very painful to wipe off residue. I guess this is the long oldies way to protect leather and make it 100% sure waterproof. It was originally waterproof right off the box since I tested in the snow. Again, manufacture probably gave it a layer of those same stuffs. I had to apply another layer. I didn't want to use the instant waterproof nylon spray because I didn't want to kill the leather in long run like other clark shoes i had. Nylon over time will give breakage look, plus make the leather plastically shine.This is my first time try the bee wax stuffs. It took forever to apply it and polish off its white residue. It is quite a hard work for a girl. Plus, I had to polish it with leather black oil afterward. well compare to the instant waterproof can spray, this process is not easy. Plus, I don't know how good it will be compare to the nylon for waterproof purpose. I don't plan to soak it in water. I will use nylon boot for that. This leather pair is not cheap, plus extra main tenant works.
