riend's sweater) and attempted rinsing it with water in the bathroom sink -- nothing. The stains were deep and pigmented and no amount of handsoap would help. And being a broke college student, I didn't have any serious stain removing stuff on hand besides a Tide to-go stick my friend gave me once a whim.So I wrung out my tee and carried it soaking wet back to my dorm and let it sit overnight without treating it. After waking up the next day (afternoon), I did one last-ditch effort and absolutely attacked the stains with my friend's secondhand Tide stick. Nothing seemed to happen at first, so I admitted defeat and left it sitting on my dresser. A few hours later, I return and the stains are COMPLETELY gone. And furthermore, the original pale pink color is back, without any splotchiness or damage to the original dye. So I panic because I've never witnessed a miracle before, and wash the shirt immediately. Afterwards, it's as if that shirt has never been in a five-mile radius of cheap box wine.Bottom-line: you have a crisis on your cotton shirt? Soak it in water to prevent permanent staining, and whip out your Tide stick. And no, I'm not being sponsored (although it would really help with tuition).

原文： Found on a TikTok I’ve had screenshotted for months about how to “detox” clothes. I ordered the ingredients to clean a thick Carhartt jacket my husband used to wear in the oilfield (thank you, pandemic). It smelled like oilfield dirt and oil and finally put this to the test.I
used 1 whole cup of powder detergent, 1/4 cup of Borax & 1/4 cup of Baking Soda.Fill up tub with HOT water, pour and stir in ingredients and then put in whatever clothing you’d like to strip clean (doesn’t bleach or make color fade). I let this jacket sit for 5+ hours, stirring every hour. What’s crazy is this is AFTER I washed this jacket 4 times in a row! (Yes, I really wanted it clean). You can do this with towels, blankets, used clothes and works well to get cigarette smell out!You’re welcome. :)

turn made the area i stored them in smell less like my dogs. It even removed odors and stains from my outdoor cat bedding (they were not happy about that as i noticed they kept sniffing at the bedding and rubbing themselves on it to claim it again) I use the same type of pods for all size loads and find it does well. I only buy Tide as other brands don't give me the same results. My machine is a top load HE. I usually wash my machine once a month and rather than waste money on products that claim to wash your washer I just use a Tide Pod So far it works for me so i don't plan on changing. As to price Amazon price is the same as local store and with free delivery it saves on store trips that often result in being tempted by sales to buy unplanned items.
