I remember when the 15's were my favourites because they were narrower and the toe and heal area was slimmer too. I loved running in my 15's. As the years went by
and I chose to buy the newer models of Kayano's it seemed they widened, which was fine just different. They still felt good when walking and running, but I did notice more room and preferred a more snug feel. I get this with the 22's. The whole runner is more narrow and the toe is even a different shape. The heel and body is tighter too. Concerning the size. I am an 8.5 and I bought an 8.5 ... fits perfect. I would recommend that is someone has wider feet or problems with swelling this might not be the runner for you. If you don't like a "snug to your foot feel" you may not like these 22's either. One last thing ... the colour. I was thinking that black would be a boring colour since I have flash yellow 21's right now, but I was wrong. The black is brilliant because underneath the fabric is a sea blue colour that is also the colour of the shoelaces. The pink colour is quite vivid and the silver/chrome streaks on the sides make the whole runner very nice. I am happy with the 22's and will buy another pair.

y cheaper Asics, but many of those don't have the gel going through into the front of the foot. If you're a runner, gel in the heel is WORTHLESS, you do not run on your heels. You need the gel in the front of the shoe. In the picture you can actually see the pink gel patches going up into the front of the shoe.I did notice notice this shoe seemed narrower than I was used to, but I can't be sure if that was the shoe or just because I'd worn my old pair for a year and a half and stretched it out. I also may have bought a wider size last time, although I don't think I did. I normally buy the 8B. Anyway, it is not uncomfortably narrow, just narrower than I'm used to.The laces are a little long even when you use the side-holes at the top.Overall, these are great shoes if you run every day, providing support and cushioning for your feet.

How are they different from the Nimbus...the toe-box is a little more fitted (the Nimbus seemed like it had more room)...but the Kayano fits quite nicely...with plenty of space to wiggle my toes...which is exactly how the right running sneaker should fit. I highly recommend these if you're looking to replace your Nimbus style and don't like the newer version. **I should also note that I tried SEVERAL different styles before the Kayano 22s and wasn't happy with any of them - - ugh, the joys of sneaker shopping.

is very flexible and moves to accommodate my feet. Broke in just by wearing them around the house for a few days and they no longer feel snug. I have only run short distances, but have not had any problems with pain or blisters - I am not a long distance runner by any means (like 1-2 miles max for me!) so may be better to get a larger size for longer runs. I have plantar fasciitis and ordered these per recommendations for that. They have so far been really comfortable for me and I have zero pain when wearing them, it has only been a week or so, so I will update a little ways down the road.

loss even medium is a little wide but I use wool blend socks when exercising. I don’t run because of a disability but I exercise walk with forearm crutches and workout at gym . These shoes have quite a bit of support more than the contend line . I have flat fleet so I require arch support. I got the purple and pink color, it’s a bit bright but nice . I would definitely recommend and buy again. I don’t know how long they will last but anyone who buys them for exercise knows that sneakers don’t last forever , so the price was good.
