t. While my budget can't afford the new versions when they come out, I always watch for sales on later models. I haven't put these on the road yet as I am still on a previous pair of the 1st version that I bought when they were on sale to stock up for when the first pair needed to be retired. This pair will be used when the pair I am using now need to be retired. As far as going up a size, I think this would apply to first time Saucony purchasers or if you normally go up a 1/2 size on other brands of running shoes from what your regular shoe size is, then yes you would need to go up half a size with Saucony also. I am normally a size 6 1/2 in women's for all regular shoes, but for almost all brands of running shoes, I need a size 7. I purchased these shoes in a size 7 as I have with all prior Saucony shoes that I have owned over the years. Saucony shoes always fit me well in the forefoot area. I don't need wides, but the way the Saucony shoes are made, they seem to have a little wider toebox which suits my foot shape. The shoes are for a neutral runner, have ample support and are light weight. Great running shoe!

. As one who works on speed for the marathon, it's not always my race-day shoe, but a solid friend for the long runs. It is also great for heavier runners (very tall), those with a heavy landing, prior injuries, etc. It is a high-cushion, neutral with an 8 mm drop and low-rise heel counter (which I love). It needs more arch, but my inserts do the trick. It would compete with the Brooks Glycerin (which has a more snug heel, heavier and a higher drop, and more), Asics Nimbus (which is heavier and wider with a higher drop, and more), maybe a NB 1080 (which has a higher drop, a little more snug and more), etc. $149/$150 is the MSRP for a new model and this one at half price for a just-retired model is fantastic. NOTE: I always prefer to buy this kind of product from a local retailer, but the local one went out of biz due to online shopping and the nearest one is too far. Please support local run specialty and do not "shoe-jack" them bc, say, it's not the right shade of blue or you're confusing the price of last-year's model with the run-specialty new model price. The fittings and knowledge to YOUR specific feet/gait/goals/distance cannot be replicated here.

ng shoes on amazon because my feet are tricky about sizing, sometimes I can go up or down a size depending on the shoe. I believe I ordered a 10.5 and it fit perfectly! They are lightweight and have plenty of arch support. I LOVE the color they go with everything and the pop of black, white, and coral/red is perfect to add some pizzaz. I would highly recommend these shoes for walking, running, or everyday use.

buy online. What surprised me the most with these particular shoes is that the lower part of the shoe and the insert were very different than the second pair I purchased in the same transaction. I liked that these were orange and our local school colors are orange and black, so the shoes are fine for social outings but they are not the same fit as the other ISO 2's that I have had. These are not the workout shoes that I can use.

ut not the area over the middle of the shoe. I noticed that this has changed in the newer model the iso 3, it is now one piece and not as able to move. I think that is an improvement and will keep your foot more secure while running or walking. They are a comfortable shoe but gave 4 stars because of the above issue.

the shoes much outside of running the built up sole is just a little bulky looking.

such a comfortable run in my life! The shoes were true to size. By far the best running shoes I've ever owned.
