Since I NEVER launder almost all of my clothes in warm or hot water--ALWAYS IN COLD, and I NEVER USE THE DRYER on anything but socks, underwear, and things that are too big and are made of substantial fabric, and I don't care if they don't look new. The fibers in textiles fray when they are punished in the washer and dryer. Even when on the low dryer setting, they still get beat up. Therefore, my clothes always look new, like for over a decade, because the fabric of my t-shirts, button-downs, jeans, etc. are babied. That's just an fyi tangent. But in the end, it does matter, because my mother put my Levi's 524 Sunny Day 28 x 32 jeans in the dryer on low, and I can't wear them.
As for my 3rd pair of these jeans, it's too bad they weren't quality controlled.
