Otherwise they are well made and designed to last. Just get the size right.

stand is why Timberland puts a half insole support in these shoes. If you look at the photo with the top view you will see an orange liner that looks like it is there for foot support. Not only does it not offer support, but it only runs halfway through the shoes. This means that the balls of your feet are on leather, not the liner. It wouldn't be bad, but the liner easily comes unglued, especially if you go sockless, then it flaps around until you either try to glue it back in place or rip it out. I guess it is there to make the Timberland logo visible to the prospective buyer but it is less than useless.

I first started wearing Sperry and have tried most brands. This time I chose the Timberland Classic Boat Shoe. I liked the way it looks. I like the fit, comfortable but not too snug. It has a nice built up arch support. The shoe is nice leather uppers and the standard rubber sole for traction on wet surfaces. I no longer am active in sailing, but this shoe is a great deck shoe.
It is well made. And has the leather shoe lace.

These are much more competitively priced that most other brands. I cannot tell the difference in the quality of this shoe compared to the more expensive brands. It is easy to tell the difference in the price.

ve thinner cheaper bottoms. So i was at an outlet mall and walked in to find my daughter some boots and discovered their version either made in US of imported components or made somewhere other than China. Well, I put them on and it felt like I was walking on a softer gentler world. Now that said, these are boat shoes and not excessively cushioned but much better than competitors. The fit the same every time I buy a new pair and seem to be the same quality each time. I buy at least one pair a year and still have 3 active pair. Great product and company. Yes try em. I recommend them.

d odor(I've never rocked these shoes or any shoes without socks so i might be wrong) and no one wants to smell stinky feet.

Pros:
1.)Outstanding quality
2.)heavier shoe than most boat shoes out there
3.)Rubber bottom (lots of traction)
4.)The style is perfect
5.) Very comfortable but can be a little unfortable after a couple hours of wearing these

Cons:
1.)The cushion insole cuts off halfway through the shoe and its very noticeable while wearing, only one side feels very noticeable so maybe its a manufacturing flaw.
2.) The leather scartches very easily so wear with care
3.)I have a thicker foot so when I do take these off, 9/10 ill have marks of where the shoe fits a bit tight mostly on the front of my foot where the tongue rest on my foot. (I do have plenty of room on the front of my shoe)

ll of Timberland shoes but these are the last pair I'll ever buy. You should see them, really. The front of the shoe is about 2 inches wide--no American in the world could get his foot into it unless he had no toes.
Assuming they were made the way they used to be made, I threw away the box and packaging material, so I'm trying everything I know to make them wearable. I've saturated them in Leather honey, been wearing them for 2 days without socks, and have been using VISE GRIPS to get the horribly placed seams smooth.
