Unacceptable qua
lity issues. Stay away. When I lined both shoes by heel, I can visually see the inside stitch lines on the leather not lining up between left and right show. At the ball of the feet, left and right stitches were off by 1-1.5 inches.

My typical size is US 11.5, so I should have room to spare by ordering a US 12. However, the left shoe was so narrow at the ball, it was painful. Nothing special about my feet as I always order D (or regular) and it works with other brands/dress/athletic. My right shoe was better on width at the ball, but still narrow overall, I and could not wear for long periods. Returned immediately. Unhappy given the high hopes for this.

Also, I purchase and returned a different ECCO Helsinki shoe. Again, it had quality issues and I was fool by the high historical reviews. That one the leather pieces were joined together with poor craftsmanship. I will stay away from ECCO for now. Opted for Bostonian.

hese Seattle Apron toe shoes in 46, to replace my old and worn out pair of 46, which provided many years of service. I also ordered the Helsinki bicycle toe in size 46. The Helsinki pair happened to be made in Portugal and they fit me as size 46 always has. The shoe leather seemed as good as always, too.

On the other hand, the Seattle shoes were made in China. The shoe felt narrower than it should have (the box label had no modifier to state they were narrow).

As to "Made in China", I have another pair of Ecco made in China and the leather on both seems inferior as to Ecco shoes made in Europe. It is certainly less supple, and if possible it seems thinner. In my opinion....

原文： I’m an airline pilot and I needed shoes that are comfortable to walk in, non-leather souls so it doesn’t pick up hydraulic fluid and jet fuel, and looks good.

These shoes meet all the requirements and I have had them for a month now. They are comfortable even after a 10 hour day walking a

I can’t say anything about longevity but when I asked what shoes to get on a airline pilot forum most said Eccos. I’m expecting years of good use out of these shoes and I’ll buy eccos again.

update from 1/17/2015 and downgrade to 3 stars. The upper still looks great but the sole started to show cracks and small chunks starting to fall out. I wear the shoes a lot but the sole problem is troubling. I've had these for less than 2 years.

Theses aren't as nice as the first pair of ECCOs I owned (That was in 2006, so I don't remember the name of the style). The sole just isn't as cushioning or fine
ly molded, and they are a bit tight in width. Still, they are nicer than most shoes, and the price is reasonable.

They are breaking in nicely, after almost a year of moderate wear in rotation with two other colors. I have worn them down dirt paths, up grassy hills, down streets, and through snow. I have run short distances in them, and they were acceptably comfortable (i.e. my back and legs were fine, but the ball of my foot was a bit sore).

I like the leather inside. It is much nicer than the textile in wear, comfort, looks, wet (like in the rain), etc. It was one of the features that convinced me to buy this shoe.

I don't regret the purchase at all, but I was a little disappointed when compared to my first pair. All three pair shoes (one of each color)are consistent in size, feel, and leather quality. That speaks well for their process/brand control.
