原文: Let me start this review by saying that I prefer a neutral running shoe with a 4 mm drop. The Brooks Pure Flow 3 and the Saucony Kinvara were great shoes for me in the past. If you prefer a taller drop or you need a support shoe, this probably isn't the shoe for you, but if you're like me, then this
shoe was love at first wear! The full-length EVERUN insole results in far less foot-fatigue and much more cushioned ride. The ISO lacing system is perfectly snug where I want it to be which is important because I've had some shoes where it clamped down in the wrong areas. My favorite thing is the crystallized rubber on the bottom of the shoe. I feel like it grips the ground even in wet and snowy conditions.
I've put about 60 miles on these shoes and it seriously makes running more enjoyable for me. I've read some reviews where people talk about how they need more arch support or they want more cushion; that tells me that they don't really know what type of shoes is right for them. Go to a true running store and get an evaluation to see which type of shoes are the best for you before you start buying running sneakers (especially sneakers that cost $160!!!). I had the ability to demo these on a 6-mile run before I even considered purchasing them so even though they were more money than I like to spend on shoes, I knew that they were the perfect fit for me.
If you get them, I hope you love them as much as I do! Enjoy!!!
原文: After being in running shoes to compensate for pronation for years, I got a second opinion and was referred to the Saucony freedom ISO. I have run in many pairs of Saucony's & other brands before just never a neutral shoe. I laced these up tthe first night I received them for a run, then ran an
8k race a couple days later and since have run in them twice more. I have to say even in this short trial period of converting to a neutral shoe, I am convinced that these are the correct shoes for me, I am absolutely impressed with this shoe, the 4mm heel drop compared to the clunkiness of a stability shoe is refreshing. I can actually feel myself running faster with more spring in my stride. ( Also no pain or issues so far switching from a stability to neutral) I will be purchasing these again!
原文: You really need to watch the size; the size of this series is completely different from other Saucony.
I used to wear Saucony Guide for couple years; I was in 8.5 wide, I tried a 9 or 9.5, it's too narrow, but 10 fit me well. Please be aware it is not only the width, but the length and to
e box are both much smaller than Guide. I'm in the same situation as other guys that started with supporting shoes. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful with those supporting shoes; they got me into this hobby; however, those shoes started causing hip pain, some suggested that this is my body dynamic changed over time and that I should move on to more neutral shoes.
I just got the shoes today, and jogged 5 miles, most part is on a trail. The shoe is light and tight. I could keep my leisure pace effortlessly. I did a little sprint in the last quart mile, very comfortable on road, much better than on the trail. I didn't feel the hip pain as usual, will update later.
原文: I am a forefoot striker with somewhat high arches which gives me a minor pronation issue concerning unever wear at the outer edges of the sole next to the little toe so I was looking for a more durable shoe. I had looked at the Kinvara but noticed that they weakened that very spot of the sole on the
ir latest model so I looked around and learned that this shoe is very durable.
Other than that, these are surprisingly comfortable. The uppers make them feel like socks. Very light at about 8 oz they have good padding where I need it in the front. Those Everrun inner soles give the shoe spring and bounce without the squishiness of those thick-soled "cloud" shoes that seem to be the rage these days. I have been running in Asics Nimbus Gel 19 which I am not going to abandon but I was looking for a more durable shoe that can take the longer distances than the Asics. Maybe Asics will make the soles more durable for us forefoot strikers?

Fantastic running shoe with Everun full mid-sole. It's very similar to Adidas Boost only lighter and maybe not as thick. The upper is a knit material with welded overlays around the high abrasion areas like the toe box. The heel counter in the back doesn't seem to do much other than keeping the v
ery soft heel from flexing too much. The shoe is very light and responsive, not ultralight but then again the mid-sole and sole will last a lot longer than an ultralight race specific shoe. The knit upper fits around your foot like a sock, be aware though if you prefer a little more room in your shoe add 1/2 a size. 99% of my shoes are 9.5 but I had to go to a 10 so that I could wear a thin running sock and not feel super snug. If you run without socks then these would be true to size. The knit will flex to accommodate foot shapes but I found it almost too snug which is why I went up 1/2 size.
