It's totally unacceptable for a shoe to be this fragile. There must be something wrong with the manufacturing or something because this doesn't make any sense. Amazon says I am beyond the 1 month window to return the shoes, so that's even more frustrating. Given this experience, I'll probably return to Nike shoes in the future.

s purchase to offset the wear on the first pair. I've had the second pair for a month ... And I've already worn down the tread pattern AND the outer mesh toe box has developed three holes (both pairs now have holes in the outer mesh of the toe box). MIND YOU, I walk around 15 miles and run around 2000-3000 stairs per week. These shoes are NOT durable, but they fit perfectly.

The mesh material used in the uppers on these is just garbage. On both pairs, almost immediately, the material came completely unraveled and starting showing holes. I am a 9.5, I bought 10s as these were for comfort and walking around in, I have other shoes I use for exercise - the shoe was not too tight or stressed by my foot. These were only walked around in and kept dry. Hopefully Asics gets enough feedback on this material to make a meaningful improvement for the GT-2000 7. For now I just ordered another pair of GT-2000 5s to hold me over until then. Better luck next year Asics.
