原文: Pros: Titanium band, bezel and case Chronograph Solar Powered Sapphire Crystal Face Large face Luminosity
Cons: Date hand does not automatically adjust to months with less than 31 days Black coloring may show scratches more easily than titanium
without coating
This watch had all the qualities I required in a present for my other half. It's titanium, so despite the fact that the face is large, it's lightweight. The face is large enough to make a statement without being ridiculously over-sized. It's solar powered, so no more worrying about batteries. It's got a chronograph so that certainly makes keeping track of small moments of time during the day much easier. The luminosity on the hands and at each hour is bright enough to see in the dark without keeping you up all night long.
原文: I wanted to take the time to write a review on this cause I was in the market for buying a new watch but was up in the air about spending more then $100 on a watch this time. This watch is great. The one small down side is the date. Like others have reviewed, the date is like down a hole to see it.
At first I didn't notice, but I started to notice in the evening when the number started to move and then you have to look at it from a slight angle. If you write the date alot it's not a good view on this watch, but it works great for when I need to see it. Just angle the watch right and hope the min hand isn't in the way. Lol. So why is this watch so great? My father works a lot outside gardening, working in the garage and drives a truck at night. My mother bought him a citizen watch for Christmas one year (eco-drive sounded awesome) and he has had if for probably a good 10yrs now. A watch that lasts and could take a good beaten, is what I was after. I decided to spend the money on this watch because of the materials this watch is made from. I prefer a heavier watch, but this will be my light version. The titinum makes this watch light. The first day wearing this watch I hit this watch many times on the door way walking into rooms at work. Including metal on the face. You will notice the more expensive Citizen watches have a sapharie glass. If you buy a citizen watch, I totally recommend spending the money for the sapharie glass. Mine has taken a beaten so far. Even wore it in the shop changing oil on the truck and the watch still looks new. I still have no scratches on the glass. Now I expect to take it off when I remember too, I hope that helps preserve it longer but this durability is meeting my expectations. The look is very sleek and techy like. I love black watches over any other because they seem to take a good beating before they actually start to look really worn out. I express to spend the money on a sapharie glass faced watch for it's durability. I saw where the cheaper citizen watches without it had reviews where some took pictures of their watches and in the photos you could see hair line scratches in the face. If your going to get a watch that is going to out last a normal battery watch you want that extra durability. You get that with this watch. I even opened the box and found that if you register the watch you can get an extra year of warranty. That gives me 6 years on this watch. I have a $800 watch made from Pandora and the battery has died in it after 3 years. I am hoping to see how this holds up compared to it. Just wanted to note I also work on a computer almost every day. The metal on the band seems to be holding strong against my desk and the metal on my laptop's.
原文: Hands and hour marks disappear before midnight, even after spending the entire day basking in sunlight. The date marker is almost unreadable. Very hard to reset date and chronohands. My 15yr old Citizen WorldTime version is so much better. Sent it back.
