I've noticed people say that it runs a half-size larger than expected. I'm not really sure I've noticed that but the fabric of the shoe is very flexible. I got a size 5, the smallest size and my true size, and I haven't noticed any issues. I will say, though, that even if they did run a half-size larger, this is fairly useful for when I was walking around in Europe so much since it gave my feet room when they'd swell after long periods of exercise.

One odd feature is that the shoe doesn't have a regular tongue, which means that you have to slightly twist and tug the shoe onto your foot. But that's just a momentary hassle, and the shoes wrap nicely around my foot, which has a narrow heel and wide forefoot. In regard to this color (light brown with white trim): The overall color is quite light, with lots of white showing on the top. The effect is that this looks like a good color combination for spring, summer, or early fall.
