I decided to order a second pair (half a size up to experiment the issue some other reviews commented on sizing a half up and it worked perfectly) strictly black for my work attire and ended up using them all the time. I still use both pair just as much even though one is 8 and the other 8 , but that my case in which it works; I use thin socks with the snug pair balances it out. I highly recommend these shoes.

couldn’t fathom ordering a NINE when I’ve never been bigger than an 8. The opening is SO small so it’s hard to get my foot in but once it’s in, it fits great. I have about 3/4 of an inch between the end of my toe & the top of the shoe. But yes, they require effort to put on, that’s for sure. I also ordered them in a D (8.5D) to account for my wide foot. Wise choice. These shoes have an edge above the rest in the looks alone.
