designed with usable pockets that make it easy to find your stuff. It holds a lot without looking bulky which is a big advantage for a shorter person who does not want to emphasize their girth. The front pocket is large enough to stow a light silk shawl to have handy for those overly air conditioned restaurants. Like many items, I would give it a 4.5, if I could because, seriously, few things are ever totally perfect. I would suggest that the shoulder strap be a bit wider. Since the bag can hold a lot, it can get heavy; and I often carry a small camera. The extra width would be appreciated. And, like another reviewer, the tab and it's lining came apart. I quickly mended it with a glue stick. Bottom line, I loved this bag so much I also got in chambray so that I will be ready for fall.
