原文： I was surprised to see this Sonicare toothbrush under $40, and went ahead and bought it. Here's what I think after 5 months:
Pros:
* Seems to clean pretty well. Leaves teeth feeling shiny. Nice to have that fresh from the dentist feeling every morning.
* My brother has
what appears to be pretty much the same model for several years and it's still going, so durability is good.
* My dental hygienist recommended it.
* The included brush head is durable and lasts longer than 3 months, at least for me.
* Comes with a coupon for $5 off replacement brush heads.
Cons:
* Replacement brush heads, even with the coupon, cost a lot. My brother got one of the cheaper knockoff replacement brush heads and I can see little strands of bristles hanging out. (not frayed, but almost falling out) So I'm going to wait for a deal on the genuine ones.
* The included brush head is pretty small in comparison to your average manual toothbrush, perhaps 60% of the size. You can buy bigger (and softer) ones. See photo which compares it to a Colgate 360 manual toothbrush.
* The instructions say to brush for 2 minutes on the fronts and backs of your teeth, but neglect to mention the chewing surfaces - probably the most important part of your teeth to brush!
* After a few uses, it changes from a "gentle" introductory mode to a more "powerful" mode. It is quite a bit more powerful, and I wish I could change it back. Even the gentle mode is too much for my girlfriend, who promptly said she's never going to use it, and will stick with her manual Colgate 360 brush.
Tips:
* You don't (and probably shouldn't) press down when brushing with this brush - it might harm your enamel. (and will wear out the head faster)
* All Sonicares are basically the same unit, with fancier and possibly unnecessary features at the high end. The higher end ones are thinner and lighter though.
Overall, recommended at this price. There's currently a $10-off coupon at Amazon, so you can get it for $29.95 now.

This toothbrush definitely gets your teeth cleaner than a traditional toothbrush, of course it a much higher price. I would say that it's worth it though in the end. Be sure to keep it charged and don't let it die constantly like I did with my previous Sonicare. It started to not keep a charge and would randomly turn on on its own. Replacement heads are of course expensive, so keep that in mind. Other than that, it works great and I will continue to use it!

原文： I was a little wary to to the downscale version of Philips Sonicare. I had an elite series previously that did right by me for about fifteen years. Trust me, I had no complaints about that model. Then, a few months ago, the battery started to refuse to hold a charge and the next thing you know, I
'm shopping for a new toothbrush. I am happy to say that this toothbrush is every bit as good as the previous one I owed at about a third the price.
The heads attach and detach easily. The indicator light is clear cut easy to use. It indicates with a beep when you're supposed to shift to a new quadrant in your mouth and the best part is that I'm pretty sure that this lower-priced brush does just as good a job of cleaning my teeth as its more expensive counterparts.
Like I said I was wary, but I'm not wary anymore. I consider this a major score. If you're one the fence, take the leap.

the white. It cost me $40, and I honestly don't think the bells and whistles for the higher-end versions provide much value, unless you want to have the fanciest toothbrush on your block. And that would be weird, since you'd have to carry your toothbrush around to show your neighbors, and they'd think you were an eccentric jerk. Save your money for a gold-plated potty, and just buy this one.

原文： This Sonicare 2 is exactly what I wanted; for me it works perfectly. This is the third Sonicare I've owned, and it is by far my favorite. First I had the wide shouldered drool-cup top. That one worked great, and seemed to be way the most durable device, but I decided that even cleaning the inside of
the top daily it was just too gross.
Next I got one of the skinny multi-functional models with it's extra spiffy charger/ sanitizer that i Never used. It was annoying when I accidentally moved to another mode. It seemed to be flimsy, made a weird noise after a couple of years, and died when the motor flooded with water.
This one is straight-forward, and seems to work absolutely dandy.
The only part that I don't like is the rinky-dink charger with it's light weight base and clumsy cord.
