One thing Amazon has wrong in the product description, that know one has pointed out and should be changed. "Features solar power, leather strap with buckle closure, and day and date windows" this watch has only (date window) and the band is not 21mm at the lug, but 22mm so don't make the mistake if you're ordering a replacement band.

least minor to me. First, unlike the illustration, the date window is very hard to read - at least for my eyes. Secondly, the second hand is very thin and usually hard to read. If you'll be using the second hand for any reason, this may be a deal breaker. Neither of these limitations is important to me, however; certainly not enough to take off a star.
As for its operation, I'm impressed with its accuracy. After I set my watch, I've noticed a change of only a few seconds, month to month.

Another reason I bought this watch is because of its Eco-Drive, powered by light; I bought a Citizen watch for my wife several years ago and it has never stopped working. I think I read somewhere in the literature I received from Citizen, that when fully charged, the watch would continue to operate for up to six months without light. I've figured that if I'm in an environment for six months without light, I probably won't need a watch.

All in all, I think this is by far, one of the better purchases I've made.

difficult for me to read the time and date. Not helping matters is that the dial is about 2-4 mm smaller than I would prefer for the this style watch. Additionally, the dial window seems to curve abruptly near its edge, causing excessive glare over the dial markers. The Orient Capital is more what I was looking for, with its smoothly domed dial window, slightly muted face, 41mm diameter, and the added feature of day-date, not just date.

Now I do have one slight quibble about this little beauty, and that is that it is slightly larger in size than it should be to reflect those timepieces of that glorious day when timepieces were so very classic and beautiful. It is nice to know that the special energy storage cell of this watch does not require replacement and an overcharge prevention function is also featured. The degree of water resistance indicates that this watch withstands rain and splashes of water, but not showering or submission. The width of the brown leather strap band is about 27/32”. The watch caseback shows the serial numbers at 6 o’clock position and the movement caliber/case numbers at 8. The function setting instructions and recharging guide are readily available from their website, and they are easy to follow. I am a happy camper to own this attractive and dignified timepiece.
PS - I think the photo featured for sale is somewhat underexposed, and the actual watch, especially the dial, looks a lot different and better.
