原文: First let me discuss the sizing. I typically wear a medium size, so that is what I initially ordered. Unfortunately, it was a bit too baggy. Returned it and got the small, perfect. So be mindful, this does seem to run about 1 size too large. I'm a comfortable medium and most larges fit me ok as well
, so bear that all in mind when ordering.
Now for the fun stuff, this shirt is incredibly comfortable. This is my primary outdoors camping/hiking/backpacking shirt. It's perfect for warm and cool conditions. Easy roll up sleeves that can be buttoned up with an easy strap and great ventilation all around make it a nice summer item. The material is very lightweight but feels durable enough to withstand outdoor activities. The SPF and collar provide great sun protection. Also looks really nice too.
原文: I have always been pleased with Columbia sportswear over the years, but this product is a disappointment. I bought this particular plaid shirt because I thought it would be nice to dress for our outdoor activities --- and not look like a zoo keeper! Color is about the only thing going for it... I
tested it out on a hot day with the sleeves rolled up for my morning hike, working in the yard, and running errands. Bleaah! The design and material are not breathable, and the shirt holds sweat and heat in like a sauna. I have no faith in it for Summer hiking or backpacking. I did step out in a brief rain to walk the dog; the material did not soak up water and the surface dried quickly. So this shirt might be okay for cooler weather flat water kayaking and canoe trips, but that's were it's performance capabilities end for me. Back to our closet of khaki colored gear....
Notes on sizing: I don't even bother with buying women's sportswear because it's ridiculous...it always costs more, and the cuts are never wide enough through the shoulders, the sleeves are too short, and there's no room for active movement. So I buy guy's stuff and share the gear with my husband. We both wear XL. I had read in reviews elsewhere, that this shirt was form fitting, so I went with a XXL. It's a tent - even by 2x standards.
原文: I have accumulated several of these Silver Ridge shirts, and very much like them. They are good light weight quick drying travel shirts that don't look "touristy." I purchased the first ones for travel but wear them all the time and have added more since they are my go to shirts now. A fe
w things though. These come in different fabrics, and it is difficult to tell exactly what the texture of the fabric will be when buying online. Some of the fabrics have pilled some from backpacks and abrasion. Those same fabrics don't tolerate high heat in the dryer so be sure to use low heat or just line dry if that isn't an option while travelling.
原文: Bought this before a summer hiking trip in Italy. It performed admirably in keeping me cool. The UV protection is another plus. It's lightweight so great for packing. The shirt is also stylish enough that i could see myself wearing it out casually -- something that doesn't always apply to these type
原文: In this shirt you can go only to museum or ballet. For hiking is not good at all. Threads are torn just as soon as you wear your backpack. No one want to buy a new shirt after every tour/trip. So my advice is to look for some more sturdy fabrics. Me personally - very disappointed of Columbia.
原文: I returned it. The sleeves were too long. I usually roll my sleeves so this wasn't a deal breaker. I also liked the color and the finish was flat so that it looked like a regular plaid shirt. Unfortunately it was also ridiculously voluminous around my torso. I think you could really make two large s
原文: I've been a fan of Columbia for quite some time. I love the color and the material. I'm 5-8 and just under 200 lbs. A size Large fit me pretty good, with the sleeves being just a tad too long. Knowing what I know about this shirt, if I find another color pattern to my liking and the price is right
原文: The materials and workmanship in this shirt are very good, and it fits true to size.
My problem is that the second button on this shirt is over 4.5" from the collar button. All of the rest of my XL shirts have these buttons 3.0"-3.5" apart. this awkwardly long distance allo
ws the collar to spread very far apart, and exposes more of my chest than is appropriate for someone whose actually wearing a shirt.
The shirt fits well otherwise in the shoulders, chest, arms and waist.
