y came with a nice sharp edge and seem to be holding the edge so far. Workmanship in the knife is decent considering the low cost of the set. I really like that the set comes with 3 large knives too. Too many sets have limited numbers of bigger knives and a bunch of smaller ones. For my use at least its great as I primarily use larger knives. They are good enough I bought a second set.

They come rather dirty... The foam insert leaves some particles stuck to the knives.

othing a little cleaning won't hurt.
DON'T wash any knife set in the dishwasher!
That will spot and easily rust the cheaper ones.
Only things I have against the set is the absence of a bread knife and the wood case...
The case is PATHETIC the wood is extremely soft and it splinters.
If I remember too I'll update my review after I've used the set awhile!

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that the holes in the knives can leave residue (ie: grease or blood from raw meat) in the holes. Definitely a minor issue, so I still de
