原文: Decent travel mug, but the cap can be tricky. If you don't push down on the cap while twisting, it will leak. Also, it IS possible to open the snap seal while holding with one hand (use your thumb or index finger). Keeps drinks hot/warm for several hours.
UPDATE: NEW LID! (See Pic: Old
Lid (left) vs. New Lid (right)). I was contacted by Contigo regarding my concerns about the lid. Fortunately, they offered to replace my mug free of charge with a NEW lid (hooray lifetime warranty!). The newer lid has a different design on the interior and is EASIER to screw on than the old lid. Also, the spout opens wider so that more liquid pours out whereas the old spout only opened a little bit.
原文: I love these Contigo mugs. They keep my coffee hot for a long time, easily several hours. I've never had a problem screwing on the top. The mugs are good quality and cheap in price. They look good, with a sleek minimalist design. The hole you have to drink out of however is very small. So
much so that if you like to gulp your coffee, this isn't the mug for you. This bothered my wife so much that she couldn't use hers. I must be a coffee sipper because it never bothered me. The pic shows my several years old green Contigo still looking like new along side my new Gunmetal mug.
原文: Okay so I am going to give this cup 5 stars because of the price, spill proof lid, durability and the fact that this cup simply feels great in your hand. The rest of the Contigo cups are a solid 4. Their are a lot of comments about why would anyone want a cup that holds Ice all day and your a snob w
ho is living like the Joneses. Well here is my simple explanation. I spend a lot of time on the lake almost every day in 90+ degree heat and always mix drinks a cup that holds ice like these do means your pulling less ice out of your cooler to make drinks witch at 3-4 dollars per 10 pound bag adds up to a lot of money buying when your buying 20 pounds of ice on Friday and Saturday to keep your cooler cold through Sunday nite because your constantly pulling ice out to make drinks. Just add that up over a 5 month boating season. You can do the math! I have tried a number of these cups and honestly have to say that Contigo makes my favorite. They have the spill proof lids and hold Ice forever and at about 15 dollars they are a fraction of the Yeti price. The 20 ounce cups are my favorite and I have saved a lot of money on ice since using them. I fill the cup with my ice maker and it last all day and sometime into the nite mixing drinks with the chilled items in my cooler. I have been getting through a whole weekend on one 20 pound bag of ice instead of three since switching to these cups. Additionally it is hands down better to have closed containers on your boat and not beer cans laying around if you get safety checked. Also the Contigo cups are air tight and keep a beer not only cold but carbonated. I love the Yeti and use it every nite for cold water by the bed. The Yeti was a Xmas gift from my daughter. But for any type of actual activity the Yeti cups are over priced and the lid simply falls short. Save your money and get one of these you will not be disappointed. The Contigo cups are all great. I am not a huge fan of the narrow neck because it is difficult to get ice in it under your ice maker but this model has a wide neck and takes ice well. Additionally the lid threads around the outside of the cup so you can fill it all the way to the top with ice and still get your lid on. I am surprised this is the cheapest of the Contigo cups I have one or two of almost every model as I require every passenger to have there drinks in a sealed container. Absolutely no beer cans allowed. The cups are simply awesome. Cheap, durable, stylish, spill proof, and COLD. Don't just get one get 4-5 for the price of one Yeti they make great gifts. I have 6 of this model unfortunately I have lost 2 lids. Hope this review helps. I don't usually do reviews but I have saved so much money since using these cups I feel like spreading the word.
原文: Love, love this insulated bottle! Some reviewers complain about their nose touching when they drink, but that's fine with me: I actually find it's a nice safety while I drink hot liquids, it prevents taking too large of a gulp. Concerning leakage, I line-up the 2 conmigo (cap/bottle) then I screw o
n the cap. It's always leakage-free, even when it's lying down in my handbag. It's so perfect and convenient, and my lemon-ginger hot water stays hot all morning and more. (When I removed a sticker on the bottle, there was a small imperfection in the coating. The gun metal is a good color, as imperfections don't show as much.)
Update: I had to lower from 5 stars to 3 as the quality of Contigo has gone down. This is the second insulated bottle I buy, as the first one was lost at the airport after a year of usage. This new one, after only 6 months has already lost the clear lacquer on the top metal part and showing some rust (the brown arrow shows the area). Also the rubber part wasn't glued as well as my first bottle and the gap has a tendency to get dirty and rusty (white arrow). And finally, the lacquer is also starting to peel on the bottom part (red arrow).
These are all esthetic faults. I hope Contigo is aware of the lower quality and trying to fix it. If you don't care about any of these details, then you'll be a satisfied customer. It's a very well insulated bottle and the price is right. (I also like the fact that I can leave the flap open to cool down my hot drink. I use this bottle every morning and every time I travel. I bring myself some tea bags and all I need is some hot water during my flights. Very convenient.)
原文: This thing keeps my coffee warm almost all day and doesn't leak. As a result, I drink a lot more. Not sure if that's a good thing.
On the other hand, I laughed off the reviews criticizing the snap lid. I thought I was too smart to leave it open. I was wrong. One afternoon I left the mug i
n the side pouch of my backpack and tossed it into the back of my girlfriend's car. This is not advisable.
I now double-check the lid to make sure it's closed. I'd rather not sleep on the couch.
