Pros: these shoes have great stability, good arch support, and overall are fairly water resistant. The material is definitely high-quality, and I have no doubt they'll function well for my intended purposes.

Cons: Around the ankle, the material is really inflexible. This is both a good and a bad thing - it provides great support and stability, but until you wear them in, there's a good chance these are going to rub you a bit raw on the back ankle (a recent day walking around the city caught up with me after a few hours and it wasn't pretty). Also, I do find that they run a bit small and narrow. I usually wear an 8 with New Balance, but ordered up to an 8.5. It's fine, but after owning and wearing these for a couple months now, I do wonder if a 9 actually would have been better, as it would allow for some greater flexibility in the types of socks I can wear comfortably with these.

Overall, however, I'm very happy with these. They're very well made, and I can already tell they are going to last me quite a long time. Also (girl comment here), super big fan of the color combo. That has nothing to do with their performance, but I'd be lying if I said that didn't partially sell me.
