The system is awesome. On the turntable I simply put a record on, flip a switch for the motor. On the speaker I turn it on and then sound comes out. I never get it past level 3 because the sound is so loud. This thing has a lot of volume. I would recommend this setup to anyone. Easy to install (even for beginners) easy to use. Sound is great, turntable is flawless. I have never spent this much on sound equipment, but I am glad I did.
I also went with a bluetooth transmitter so I can listen on a second speaker in a different room, which works great, but the speaker I bought for that is not the best. equent play it pairs right up.. my source is a Samsung Tab 4 and I usually have it in the same room as the Stanmore. So far after a month, I have never had it lose connection.. I am not sure what the issue might be with other reviewers, but I have had great success with the connectivity.. It comes with a coiled stereo plug, but I prefer the BT and could not really hear a difference from the direct connect and the BT. The SOUND is awesome, with a lot of Clarity and punchy bass. Loud? YEP.. It fills my house. I have it staged mostly in my media room that opens to a second floor and the sound carries throughout. If it is in your budget, this is the one to get.. Oh and style is way cool for a 70s rocker like me ..
