Hard to say where in the frequency range these are best... which in a way is a compliment. Matches best with warm sounding system
. Tube system would be of great benefit. If you have a Dac/amp that is portable... make sure the amp is quite powerful with a bass boost and gain. These in the end are a very balanced sounding set of headphones. Not a huge soundstage, but solid. Recommended for under $200. They are built very well. Made in Germany I believe which is nice compared to supporting other less conscious trading partners.
