原文： Bought this for my daughter to use in college dorm room for boiling water to make hot tea or hot chocolate. I tried it out at home a few times before she moved, and am thinking about getting one for me! It heats up the water very quickly, the outside is cool to the touch, and after turning it off
it stays hot for a little while. It isn't easy to tell when the water is hot because there isn't an external indicator, but you can open the lid and take a peek to see if it is boiling if you aren't sure. Once I got the hang of using it I could tell by the sound made by the water boiling.
One of the reasons that I picked this kettle over several others is that it has no plastic parts -- only stainless steel -- in contact with the water when boiling until it is poured. I didn't like the idea of plastic chemicals leaching into the water. It also seemed like it had fairly good reviews.
Please note that this is NOT a paid review, and I did not receive the product for free to evaluate it! Wish I did though!!

When I tried it for the first time I put little water and it
started boiling so fast, but the kettle wasn't stopping by itself. I was concerned that it might not be automatic so I waited. It seems that it is program to last between 2 and 5 minutes but because my water was heated in a matter of seconds 2 minutes felt like forever. It automatically stopped and I noticed the safety features are top notch. The heater is built inside the kettle so you don't get to touch it or even see it when you're cleaning it up or using it. The stainless steel feels great and is very clean.
The second time I put more water, and it heated it up very fast again. It kept the water warm for a long time. I'm very satisfied and I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a water kettle.
Ps. I had also read other comments about rust and inspected my item thoroughly. It wasn't just squeaky clean, it was also great material. I had no problem with it whatsoever.

She likes to boil a lot of water at once and serve it multiple times for tea or just hot water, and it wouldn't cool down too much for few hours. I always see people in kettle reviews complain about rusting on "stainless steel" and saying they are looking for really "stainless steel kettle". However, there isn't a real "stainless steel". It is just harder to get rust or stained. Depending on how frequently you use the kettle, the kettle is going to get rust sooner or later. The only thing I feel it can be better is the cord attached to the base could be longer, because we like to place the kettle a little bit further from the power outlet. Despite that, I am overall very satisfied with this kettle(it's been about a month and it is still stainless, so...). By the way, I am not paid to write this review and i don't often write reviews.

ion but I have found this not to be true. The exterior remains cool, and it does not drip after pouring. The inside of my kettle is not rusting but will eventually require a demineralization with some vinegar as detailed within the instruction manual. Basically soak in some diluted vinegar for an hour or so. Love the fact that the cord is not connected to the pot but rather to the base that the kettle easily attaches to/rests upon. Automatically shuts off after water comes to a boil. The only thing missing is a temperature control option. So happy with this kettle.
