原文： I'm writing this review to clear up some issues that the manufacturer has seemed to address in older versions.
My wife and I received 2 of these as shower gifts since we are expecting twins. The box is pretty large and weighs around 80lbs. You should definitely assemble the crib in the ro
om you plan on keeping it in because it won't fit through a normal doorway. It took me 50 minutes to assemble the first one by myself and about 30 minutes to do the second one.
We got the Espresso color which is VERY nice. There was no weird chemical smell to either of them. It's possible that's something the manufacturer has addressed, or maybe it's not an issue with the Espresso finish. Either way, we were relieved to find they smelled fine.
There were no scratches on any of the parts and everything was packaged really well. No missing screws either!
THE PARTS ARE ALL LABELLED! Many older reviews mention that none of the pieces are labelled, but they are now!
The mattress support has been changed from a solid flat wood panel to a lightweight metal and spring mesh which feels well-made and is easy to mount. According to past reviews, the older version had the instructions glued to the wood panel but now you get a separate instruction manual that is kept in a large plastic envelope zip-tied to the spring mattress so you can keep it safe until the next time you want to readjust the bed size.
My wife and I are really pleased with how nice these cribs looks and how solid they feel after assembly. We definitely had our reservations considering how inexpensive they are compared to the cribs you find in the store, but honestly we're really happy.
I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to scratching and chewing but that's an issue we'd have with any crib. The wood doesn't appear to be overly soft so hopefully it'll hold up for a long time. For the money, you really can't beat the quality here.

原文： After looking at cribs both online and in store, reading reviews and talking to others I ultimately decided to register for this crib and I don't regret it. The cost for this crib is significantly less than that of comparable quality cribs, and the conversion capability was a big selling feature for
me. It feels sturdy, the finish is appealing, and provided it's cared for like any other piece of furniture I anticipate it'll last.
My only complaints:
We were shorted a 1/4x2" bolt, not a huge deal I just went to get one at the hardware store - though I do suggest counting all your pieces before beginning, anyone who has assembled furniture knows this.
Speaking of assembly - it is simple once you get going, but getting started is a little dicey. Not IKEA assembly difficulty, but not the easiest assembly either. I appreciate the instructions are printed on the mattress board for future reference, but I would have greatly appreciated a printed copy to hold so I didn't need to be in the middle of assembly leaning over the board trying to give my husband directions. It is definitely a 2 person job.
The long rail that will eventually be used for the toddler conversion arrived slightly damaged with a "divet" in the center of it, our box did arrive somewhat damaged but because of the location of the imperfection in the rail and how well everything was packaged I suspect it occurred during manufacturing as opposed to shipping. The box damage didn't seem to affect the crib, which arrived packaged well.
Overall I'd reccomend this crib to anyone who wants to save a little money on furniture.

原文： I found this crib a real pain to put together. I also have another crib that I bought from a box store and it was a breeze to set up. This one was tricky since it was different heights in the front and back and the rails come separately so trying to hold them up and on while the assembly was a TASK.
I had to do it alone too since the toddler needed to be watched and I let my husband do that since I tend to be better at putting things together. (not to say he can't, he is very capable but I'm just normally pretty apt at this kind of thing and I'm the bossy kind too) :) but having said all that I thought this was a little tricky for the reasons I mentioned. It just felt like so many pieces. I prefer it when there are 4 sides only and that's it.
When my husband came to help me, as our daughter fall asleep, even both of us struggled a lot with this crib.
But that's not even the reason why I put 2 stars. When you are done with a bed, it looks gorgeous, very stable and nice. BUT, I have a lot of concerns about the quality of the wood. My daughter has for teeth and she managed to chew the bed in 5 minutes we left her there the next day.
She had dark paint all over her face and a piece of actual wood in the mouth. This is not safe at all!
Also, during set-up, I noticed some scratches on the paint, when I took all crib part out of the box.
I'm very upset with this purchase, although it looks very nice and a price is good, I'm very concerned with the safety issues.
There are a lot of positive reviews here, maybe it was just me to receive a faulty item.
