原文： I had a G-Shock before but the numbers were too hard to read at a glance so I opted for this Casio which has turned out to be just what I needed. G-Shock plus the triple sensor (compass, temp, altitude, and pressure), and atomic timekeeping. Dark grey rubbery band and resin body, glossy black bezel. I read some people nit picking the accuracy of the triple sensor feature, I mean come on its just a wrist watch, you're not going to get accuracy like an aircraft air data computer. It tells me what it is in the ball park which is good enough, if I needed to know information like that any more accurately I wouldnt be using this (or any other) watch. The temp feature is a little off since it reads warmer than what it is, I think its my body heat throwing it off. Its a little smaller than what Im used to wearing (big armored G-Shocks) but it is light and doesnt feel uncomfortable to wear. All in all Im happy with the buy.

Then I put two and two together and realized I had taken my fleece off earlier and there was a little bit of static as these winter months approach. It a
ppears the static reset the watch. A quick search for "casio protrek 3000 reset" and you'll see the issues some have. I actually saw the static reset issue before purchasing this, but I believed it was isolated or couldn't happen to me. Well, it just did.
What's the point of a watch if it's not reliable, prone to resets? That's the entire reason I have a watch. Extremely displeased.
I researched quite a number of watches and found this one to be a best fit for what I was looking for: a smaller ABC (altitude barometer compass) watch with the ability to display barometer on the main face, and a nice readable face. I really liked the watch too until this issue.
It's a shame that the static reset issue is true. Hopefully I can still return this to Amazon. Not pleased about this at all.

原文： Read about it it does a lot. Couple pet peeves, you can't change the hour signal to chime any amount of minutes after the hour, it will either double beep every hour at the hour (I think it actually doesn't beep at night?), or not at all. It is nice and not too big for what it does, display is
clear and easily readable, the winglets help it sit on your wrist comfortably. I find the compass very precise, the elevation less so, but that is understandable given it presumes stable barometric pressure. I believe the beeper is slightly quieter than my old Casios I had for years. Time synced, watch charged, I am very happy with them and would buy them again. If you're concerned about the lack of dual display, don't be. The compass is just as easy to use and the display is a lot clearer now.
原文： This watch is a huge improvement over previous Casio watches both in terms of design and accuracy. The clear look with bigger display is what made me choose this over g shocks plus the sunset/sunrise feature. It takes a while to get around learning all the features but its worth it as the
weather graph is very accurate in predicting change in weather. The compass is very accurate as well.
The main advantage of this watch over Suunto core is that its Casio and Casio watches last forever..other than that, the solar charging is very useful to me as changing battery is where the water seal lock of watches gets damaged causing malfunction when running tap water over it etc.
The bezel is slightly fragile and can get small dings if u use it outdoors but mild wear and tear adds character to watches.
In terms of aesthetics this watch is very tactical dark looking and I am glad i went with normal display and not negative display due to ease of reading in low light.
I hope Casio makes more clean designs with big display.
