原文： These are amazing. These are not work boots. These were developed for military use. They are not waterproof in the fact that they keep water out. They have mesh sections along the side, and port holes on the side and bottom. They are made as lightweight, rugged boots that can be submerged completely
underwater, and then pull one's foot out and all the water drain. They have a rubber insole. They do not feel soggy. Your socks will get wet, but they do not hold water. If you are use to gel insoles, then you may consider them uncomfortable compared to your other boots. If you understand that these are lightweight boots that can be warn in warmer weather, and stand up to water, then you get the picture. These are not made to be have super, soft insoles. They are made to be outdoors in. For that reason I got them, and they work great. These are amazing boots. If you are looking for one's that keep water out, these are not them. If you are looking for a boot that works in almost any terrain and environment (other than snow or winter climate) then these are the boots for you.

原文： I really liked the OTB boots I had before these. New Balance bought OTB and changed the design a bit. These are fairly well made, I use them for wading trout streams. On the plus side, unlike wading boots I can hike into a canyon with decent ankle support and then go directly into the water for w
ading. They shed water internally really well and are great for in/out of the water hiking while fishing. They arent especially comfortable so wearing them when a water boot is not needed isnt recommended. These are not a great hiking boot for all around wear that can go in the water. They are a water boot that make an OK hiking boot. If you arent going in the water, choose an Oakley boot or an Altama boot.

hile they are still available. One pair is oversized to wear with thick neoprene booties.
Excellent drainage. Ok traction. Soft, easy to wear. They work for me, hence my repeat purchases. Very good wet wading shoe.

oler and more comfortable overall - the other thing is I had to order a half size larger than I would with nike since they don't come in half sizes -other reveiws warn about ordering too small a size so though I considered returning them for a smaller size seemed prudent to hang onto this size as i doubt the smaller size would fit ...

原文： Great shoe for what they are designed for. I use these as a “wader" boot used in salt water, I need a boot that will take the “foot sock" of a wader without "bunching up" in the boot and drain fast. Best boot so far and I have several wader boots that are just too heavy and not a com
fortable as these are. (My normal shoe is an 11, I ordered a 12) They come with two insoles so you can reduce the volume of the boot and use them with regular socks, nice feature.
