原文： My husband has this jacket in a men's medium. I love it on him so much, I wanted one, too. I ordered a women's medium and was so excited when it arrived, but crushed when I put it on. The jacket fit beautifully in the upper body-- shoulders were great, just the right amount of ease in the chest, and
the sleeves were the perfect length. BUT I could hardly close the jacket at my hips. I am a normally-proportioned woman with a slight hourglass figure, but not like a pear-shape where my hips are larger. I've never had this issue with a coat before, so I thought it was so strange. I decided to try a large, thinking maybe it won't be that much bigger on the top, but the hips will fit better. It was ridiculous! My husband said it looked like a linebacker with his pads on could have worn this coat--- BUT the circumference around the hips was exactly the same as the size medium! How is that possible? I can't even imagine what a woman who could wear the large would look like. She'd have to have the broadest shoulders ever and be a 42 DDD or something, but have little skinny adolescent boy hips.
I took a closer look at my husband's coat and noticed that, like most men's clothing, it is broader at the shoulders and narrower at the hips-- because that's how men are built. Women are not usually like this, however. When I laid the ladies version over his, it practically followed the same lines. It appears that the company just took the same design for the men's jacket and shrunk it a bit and call them women's. Sorry! Doesn't work like that!
Very disappointed about this purchase. The coat is well-made and the perfect weight, so I really wanted it to be my winter jacket this year.

cket is pretty much useless in the keeps-you-warm department, at least in New England. One would expect that it would keep you warm on a windless mid-40s day, but no. Then add some wind ... the seams are sewn-through ... and your teeth start chattering. On top of that, it has the weirdest fit at the hips ... very tight ... and I am a very not-hippy 5'2 and 110 pounds. So, if looking good is more important than staying warm, and you are shaped like an inverted triangle, this coat is for you. If your mama brought you up to be practical, then continue searching.

原文： I bought the Hally Hansen down jacket 700 fill power black. I love how this fits . it's a bit longer than most down jackets which I find too short. I am 170cm and weigh 62kg. I got a medium so I could later over other pieces. it had enough room without being baggy . I don't agree with other reviews
that it's not wide enough in the hips! not all of us have big hips!! most others I tried in flared out at the hips and looked ridiculous! thanks goodness for HH making this style for us straight up and down girls :-) that's not to say it's no good for a little curve but if you are full on pear shaped this is probs not the jacket for you. it's also super warm and stuffs into a 2litre stuff sack. pockets are toasty, fleece lined but yes an interior pocket would have been great .
