It is important to note that I am flat-footed, and have wider than average feet. Teva seems to accommodate wider feet like no other shoe maker I have experienced. It was also nice that they came completely laced up.

Contrary to some of the comments here, I think this shoe fits me quite fine. I wear US size 9 (Euro size 42) and this shoe fits my foot like a glove. Note, you would want a shoe that fits somewhat snugly because it will also expand slightly after break-in. That is especially true of a hiking shoe.
Pros:
1)Ideal waterproof business casual shoe. If you live in a climate that is constantly wet (rain or snow) and need a casual business shoe that will not get wet, then you have found the right shoe.
2)Looks good with surprisingly high quality leather.
3)Still a very capable hiking shoe when the need calls.
4)Fits me exactly as expected. I wear size 9 and that size fits my foot like a glove.
5)Very comfortable and ideal for mid-arched people like myself.
Cons:
1)The leather can be scratched against the rocks when hiking. So this isn't an ideal hiking shoe, but it is a still very capable one with very good traction and waterproofing. I just wouldn't use this shoe as a dedicated shoe for hiking.
2)The shoestrings are little too long and not of the highest quality. But that can be quickly ameliorated by purchasing after-market shoe strings.

I think the sole of these makes them even more comfortable than the Event. Having these previous pairs I k
new what I was getting but I would say that they are widish fit (I do have a narrow fit mind you) and they are not big for their size - by that I mean my 12's are not a big 12. While I prefer the extra support of boots for rocky walking I use the Kimtah for everyday bush walking. They are well made and offer good support, flexibility and comfort

Until just under a year the left sole started clicking, now it's so loud that it sounds like i'm walking on bubble wrap
and it echos in hallways.
I was wearing them a a rugged sort of dressy shoe occasionally but now they will be used only for outdoors as the clicking/snapping is obnoxious.
