原文：Decent travel mug, but the cap can be tricky. If you don't push down on the cap while twisting, it will leak. Also, it IS possible to open the snap seal while holding with one hand (use your thumb or index finger). Keeps drinks hot/warm for several hours.UPDATE: NEW LID! (See Pic: Old Lid (left)
vs. New Lid (right)).I was contacted by Contigo regarding my concerns about the lid. Fortunately, they offered to replace my mug free of charge with a NEW lid (hooray lifetime warranty!). The newer lid has a different design on the interior and is EASIER to screw on than the old lid. Also, the spout opens wider so that more liquid pours out whereas the old spout only opened a little bit.

They look good, with a sleek minimalist design.The hole you have to drink out of however is very small. So much so that

Some reviewers complain about their nose touching when they drink, but that's fine with me: I actually find it's a nice safety while I drink hot liquids, it prevents taking too large of a gulp. Concerning leakage, I line-up the 2 conmigo (cap/bottle) then I screw o
n the cap. It's always leakage-free, even when it's lying down in my handbag. It's so perfect and convenient, and my lemon-ginger hot water stays hot all morning and more. (When I removed a sticker on the bottle, there was a small imperfection in the coating. The gun metal is a good color, as imperfections don't show as much.)Update: I had to lower from 5 stars to 3 as the quality of Contigo has gone down. This is the second insulated bottle I buy, as the first one was lost at the airport after a year of usage. This new one, after only 6 months has already lost the clear lacquer on the top metal part and showing some rust (the brown arrow shows the area). Also the rubber part wasn't glued as well as my first bottle and the gap has a tendency to get dirty and rusty (white arrow). And finally, the lacquer is also starting to peel on the bottom part (red arrow).These are all esthetic faults. I hope Contigo is aware of the lower quality and trying to fix it. If you don't care about any of these details, then you'll be a satisfied customer. It's a very well insulated bottle and the price is right. (I also like the fact that I can leave the flap open to cool down my hot drink. I use this bottle every morning and every time I travel. I bring myself some tea bags and all I need is some hot water during my flights. Very convenient.)Hoping this review helps you.

I made coffee at 9:30 am and prewarmed the mug with hot tap water. I drove an hour to my destination and it was still
too hot to drink. I ran errands all morning and I finished my coffee at 1:30pm! It wasn't luke warm either. It was still hot enough to be enjoyable 4 hours later! The out side of the cup never got warm. Next time I won't prewarmed it so I can drink it sooner. I'm about to order another for my husband. We are super impressed.
