sets just keep getting more cool

absolutely love everything about it. It was a joy to put together, and it makes a great display piece.

unique parts and cool stickers! (3 seagulls, a CUTE CAT, harpoons, hooks, a telescope, a TNT, and everything. I can guarentee you this set has almost every thing you can think of.) The rocks at the bottom of the store makes it even more realistic. I am saying, this set just included all the features of a real old fishing store should have. Through it would have been better if it had a little boat. The price is good enough, too(I guess because I was already so obsessed with this set even before it was released)So, if you are looking forward to buying this set, I highly reccomend you!

l.But I wanted a set to build that was smaller, since we have some huge sets waiting that I don't want to start yet (several 3000+ piece sets) so I grabbed it.And I was absolutely blown away by it.Even for veteran builders like my son and I, there's just so much to love here. I can see why this one got farther than almost every other set in the Lego Ideas forums. The details are just wonderful, and in person, this thing is simply gorgeous. It's a perfect size, not so big that it's annoying, but not so small that it's overlooked. There are lots of features inside with the opening wall, removable roof, and the removable tower, that lets you peek into the building.The way the roof is done and looks so dilapidated - brilliant.Most sets we've built the last year or more, we build, and a few days later I break them down and box them up again for possible future building. Only a very select few get kept intact, and this one was so good that it had to make that list.The building is different enough in its different parts that it wasn't just a boredom-fest of repetition. The bit of repetition with some of the wall pieces is not tedious.And I absolutely LOVE how some of the wall has single points for the small siding pieces, to allow that tilt so it really adds to that "falling down" look.The only thing I can find to complain about is the low bit of details around the base. But the building is just so cool that you don't really notice how anything lacking.It blows past the 10 bucks per hundred pieces average that I look for in Lego sets, so for the money, there's a lot of pieces you get.Don't pass it up like I almost did. This one is something that any Lego fan should get.

are many "bits" (fish, fishing poles, etc - stuff in the store).Its wonderfully detailed, I hope Lego continues this theme and builds a sea-side village.if it matches this set, that will be cool.I like that the instructions make you work a little, this is not an easy build.I like that the detail is so good. The roof is one area that springs to mind - very clever use and placement of parts.I like the details, the accessories that come with itI like the clever parts - as you build it, you see things coming together and think "Oh! Thats how this part will work! Clever!"Another exceptional set from ideas. Maybe, with the parts from this, you can design the next ideas set?
